What matchup are you most looking forward to seeing against Arizona?

Granted its only preseason and the players that matter will only be playing a series or two but what matchup are you most looking forward to see in the game? Player vs Player wise? Henry against Fitzgerald? Leonard Davis pass protecting against Ware? How about Terry Glenn vs. Rolle?

Rogers, at right tackle, blocking __________ for Arizona. Don't really care who's name goes in the blank. I'm watching the game mainly to evaluated how well Rogers has progressed for myself. IMO, a good or better Rogers equals a solid offensive line for 2005.

I want to see Peterson and the RTs as well as the RBs and young WRs. On D it's Ware, Ware then all the rest. I don't care who lines up for Ariz although I'd love to see Ware, Canty and Burnett against Arizona's first team.

Well, Tnew and Henry vs Fitz and Boldin (he broke his nose this week, btw) tops the list. I'm sure with that O we see some multi receiver sets, so we get to see A Glenn too..I don't know how polished Warner is going to look first preseason game, prolly typical, but I expect Green to let him hum it.

Boldin, Fitz and Bryant Johnson are as good a threesome as we will face, so we should get some early feel of where our secondary is.

Also curious about Arrington and how our 3-4 D shuts down the run (or doesn't).

Bertrand Berry v Flo, Okeafore (sic?) didn't he sigh there? v Rogers..that one will be interesting. I think he did sign in Az.

If there is one player I dislike in this league it's Robert Griffith..maybe Key or Jason can take his head off for me.

I like Kurt so I don't want to see Demarcus take his head off. Just show me you COULD take his head off.

I don't know if Canty will play, but if he does, he tops my match up list no matter who he faces.

Backup QB (Hensen and Romo):
I'm not going to look at any single player. Instead, I'm going to focus on our offensive backfield - specifically Backup QB. If we have at least average play at RB and on the OL throughout the game then Romo and Hensen should both play well (or at least we hope they would play well). If that does not happen then I will be concerned, because at the end of the day the future of our franchise rests on our success at QB. Also, I'm not down on either of them. I'm rooting for both of them to succeed; and I think they will because reports indicate they both have had good offseasons.

There have been so many changes and upgrades this offseason, it's hard to say.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the 3-4 and how the rooks perform, as well as the secondary against Boldin and Fitzgerald. But what will be interesting to me on the defensive side of the ball will be seeing how Dat does in the 3-4 set. I'm hoping he flourishes, returns to his near Pro Bowl form. Other than that, I just wanna see Warner on his back, a lot.

On the offensive side of the ball, I can't WAIT to see Julius tote the rock. He reminds me so much of his brother in college. I love watching him run. Like everyone else, I'm interested in seeing how Rogers and Crayton play in a real game. I'll be watching the OL closely, and I think everyone will have their eyes on Bledsoe. But to me, the most intriguing player on the team is Tyson Thompson. I gotta see this phenom with my own eyes.

to me i generally just want to see our defensive line get pressure on the QB this year, dont care if its 4-3 or 3-4!
