Exorcist! I was only 6. Bad call on my Dad for that one.

Lol these dads of ours. I was going to post how my amazing pops made me watch "Child's Play" when I was around 5 or 6. F you Chucky haha. I even had one of those classic Teddy Ruxpin dolls at the exact time. Yep, terrifying at the time and I had some really serious nightmares about Chucky as a kid.

Don't laugh. Alligator. Basically... land-based Jaws for kids..

Timb2, Delivery traumatized me as an adult! LOL There are still areas of the deep South I won't go into after watching that scene.

We have talked about similar topics before...for many who where young when this came out, it got to them.

The first one is much creepier imo but both creeped me out when I was young.

I remember yelling at the TV...DON"T DO IT DON'T LET HIM IN!!!!

For me it was Jaws as I grew up near a beach. My outlook changed going into the ocean for a very long time.

I remember going to see The Exorcist dreading it because I heard how many people came out traumatized and I was thought it would happen to me. I was around 12 years old and I thought it was a great movie, but nothing to put me in a mental hospital.

Don't laugh, I'm not kidding. Horror movies never bothered me - Jaws was fun, of course I was always looking below to see if I was about to get eaten, but wasn't that bad.
I guess it was something about it being a kids movie and that part coming out of no where. The story, the build up and then the look - SHIVERS man.:laugh:

Also, I know it's not a movie, but the series Unsolved Mysteries was terrifying to me, because it was real stories with the guilty person still out there.
