for purposes of this exercise I am assuming that none of the following positions will go in the top 16.

QB - 2 Burrow and Tua
LB- 1 Simmons
DT- 2 Brown and Kinlaw
DE- 1 Young
CB -1 Okudah
WR- 3 Lamb, Jeudy and Ruggs
OT- 3 There are 4 possibles so I went 3 locks

That’s 13 picks. Need 3 more. Herbert is one I think but not Love. The other OL would be 2. That gets us to 15. Need one more and we are guaranteed a shot at one of our two targets. So who sneaks in?

I think the 2 key guys we need to go that you don’t have listed are QB Love and OT Thomas. They will be the deciding factor if a WR, Chaisson, Henderson, or Kinlaw falls to us imo.

Thankfully, I think Love would be an easy trade back asset...possibly the same with Thomas. And if not I don’t hate the idea of taking Thomas at all, I’m sure that’s unpopular though

What makes you think Herbert isn't an absolute lock? I wouldn't be surprised if he was the second QB off of the board.

Also, it wouldn't surprise me at all if another WR snuck into the top 15.

Kinlaw and Ruggs arent locks to go ahead of us. I personally dont think Lamb is a lock either

Jefferson is good, but I dont think he is that good. Seens to be the consensus #4 WR right now

A lot of people have Queen rated above 17. If a RB does go before we pick it would be Swift.

That would mean 7 remaining picks going to likely locks Chase Young, Jeffrey Okudah, Isaiah Simmons , CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy, Derrick Brown, and Javon Kinlaw, hopefully giving us our assumed preferred pick of:

Henry Ruggs
K'Lavon Chaisson
CJ Henderson

IMO, Chaisson is on the board @ 17. Henderson goes before him for sure.
