What, no "TO must Go!" threads?

Nice very nice!

Thank you...I'm honest to a fault...I was depressed when Parcells was hired but have tried to make the most of it, knowing his tenure would be brief due to age. He'll always be the enemy to me.

TO will always be the bum who stood on the star and runs his mouth...it's not fair to either of the men, but I have a right to my feelings, and I can't stand either of them.

That said, I think if T.O. comes up big in the playoffs and we either get to the NFC championship or win 1 and play well in a loss with him playing huge, I think there's a chance JJ brings him back next year.

I'm honest to a fault too. I believe TO has helped this team and I also believe he will step up to the plate in the playoffs. I see him coming back next year as well. He is an incredibly talented player that, when used correctly, makes things happen. It's funny how the quick slants and crossing routes started happening today... It's even funnier that he was doing something with them. That's what he's used to catching. Put your playmakers in position to make plays.

Now that we've all had our say. Let's see how long this thread gets with useless drivel.

Tag. You're it.

Sorry Hos... I meant to say closed...
Okay, that I can see.

Have you ever considered that is probably due to the way responders are acting and not your topic?

I have much of the same opinion, but I don't think T.O. will be back though if all this "inside source" stuff that is reported is true.

Parcells is a corpse.

The way JJ massaged TO's thigh=he's staying next year.

What, I did'nt know about this, maybe he did that to keep him as health trade bait;)

I honestly wouldn't mind being rid of him. Hes just not playing up to his salary. Has he taken over a game this year? Has he had a single game in which he didn't drop at least one ball? If anyone takes him out of the offense early, its himself. It looks to me like when we really need someone to make a tough catch hes at best #3 on the team. That in my mind isn't what a 10 million dollar palyer should look like.

I don't get the whole 'playing up to his salary' argument.

Maybe he's overpaid, but it's not our money. We're not up against the salary cap. Could we replace his production with some guy off the street?

1000+ yards. 12 TDs. A touchdown in 10 of our games.

The numbers are great. His production is great. Maybe it's not what he once was, but he IS producing like one of the top receivers in the league.

So what $10 mil player would you rather have?

That isn't the question to ask.

How would you spend that 10 million dollars? It doesn't have to be one player. You can sign 4 or 5 or more for that kind of money.

10 million per comes with expectations. Just the way it is.

I'd rather not have a 10 million dollar player, unless we have one of the top QB's in the league. No other position, other than maybe one or two DE's are worth that money.

You've just thrown out TO's stats, now tell me how many game changing plays has he made all year? Sure he has 12 TD's, of which 25% of them came in our drubbing of the Texans. Hes broken 100 yards recieving three times this year.

I think that hes getting paid like and talking like a great player, and hes a good player. I remember watching him take over games when he was with other teams, I'd guess thats because he wasn't dropping easy long passes consistently.
