What Non-WR 1st pick would upset you?

You also added a PB QB, that can’t be over looked. If you could do the 2016 draft over again with everything you know now, would you still have taken Zeke over the myriad of perennial pro bowl lineman who are still starting today and are only 30?

That's not a fair argument. If ANY of us could do it all over we'd have taken Henry later in the draft.

I'm not debating there is a ton of context left out of that graph. My only point is a guy who touches the ball 20 times a game and represents a big upgrade is difficult for me to dismiss.

Their market value for second contract should sky rocket then, no?

Hard to evaluate, no one wants to spend valuable picks on them....

Sounds like the ones that are studs and proven at NFL level should have nice second contract as their should be suitors for them in Free Agency if teams don't want to spend a valuable pick but want a good one
I’m not sure I understand what you are saying. Are you suggesting DT’s aren’t difficult to evaluate coming out of college? And there are plenty of suitors for the better DT’s and they do get good contracts. Oza is now 13th on the list and the numbers will keep growing. Carter may reset the market in a few years.

8% of cap seems low if the guys are hard to find and no one wants to spend picks on them

My opinion

But yeah, some of those guys are paid well. They should all hold out for higher pay

I never said teams don’t want to spend picks on them. I said that teams are hesitant to spend top 10 picks on them. Like I said earlier, there have only been 3 DT’s picked in the top 10 in the last 10 years. There is a reason for that and I shared my opinion as to why.
