What number will Tyson Thompson wear

I know the cowboys don't officially retire numbers, but I would think that they would take Woody's number out of circulation for a little while.

Anybody know if he will continue to wear 28.

No word yet. He's still listed with #28 (but I'm sure that will change before the season starts). I believe he wore #7 at San Jose St. Maybe he'll consider:

#27 - (past Cowboys = Ron Fellows, Thomas Everett, Eddie George)
#47 - (comment: power back number. Wouldn't look swift enough as defenders dive at him 5 yards to his rear)
#34 - good RB# (Herchel's the most well known Cowboy that I know of that wore this number)
#25 - (if Bruce Thornton gives it up voluntarily or no)

Many more, but I personally like #27. Has an air of strength but would look very good on a speed back like Thompson.

27 would make him look even faster than he is, given who last wore that number. :D
