Im going Beebe at OC and Hoffman at RG. I think thats the best group we have had together all year, and Id like to carry that over. Hoffman looked natural at RG, and I think Beebe could be a Pro Bowl caliber OC by next year

Beebe is so overrated by this board. Hopefully by next season he can be an average center. It’s frightening to me that the Cowboys started running the ball better when Martin was injured. Nobody seems to want to say it but Martin was the issue with our line not Steele. The key to the line nowadays is chemistry. Hopefully the Cowboys will let the current line develop together.

wouldn't hate beebe at center and getting alabama's tyler booker...or ohio st's donovan jackson as our new guard thru the draft.

Steele has been playing well the last few weeks
He is not great at pass blocking against a quick DE but he continues to grade very well as a run blocker
He very well good be back next year

Yeah I would agree. It seems like more of a 50/50 thing that he’s cut this offseason than the sure thing many seem to assume. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if he’s back.

/salute to Martin. The dude has been a warrior.
I could see this. I wanted to see Richards play games at LT and Guyton at RT to close this season, Richard didn’t look bad when he was on there. Maybe Guyton at his natural RT position is just better. Sucks Richards got that high ankle. Steele isnt good enough to justify keeping at that salary….too many mistakes too often.

I have been trying to get people to wake up that Martin wasn't really getting the job done for several years.

Steele has always been a fantastic run blocker. He lacks lateral quickness to handle the better speed rushers.

I want the best group, including at the tackle spots. We won't find out what the best combo is until next preseason. It could be Guyton-Smith-Beebe-Bass-Steele. It could be Guyton-Smith-Hoffman-Beebe-Steele. It could be Smith-Bass-Beebe-Hoffman-Guyton. It could be Richards-Smith-Hoffman-Bass-Guyton. Etc.

I don't get too caught up in certain players. I just want whoever is best for the team.

He misses blocks, assignments, and has bad snaps. Did you even notice he was missing during the Cincinnati game or Carolina game. You are probably one of those fans that blame Steele or Guyton for his mistakes.
All OL do. He is a rookie playing a position he didn't play in college and doing a damn good job. Next year he will be even better no matter his position.

And you would be completely wrong (no surprise) that I don't blame Steele or Guyton for anyone else's mistakes.
