FaxTools from BVRP Software. It's old enough that its Read Me file is written for Word for Windows 6.0.

It still sends faxes from my laptop with ease. Sue me.:

[EDIT] I still have the old 3 1/2 floppy/CD combo setup disks--which is how it keeps ending up on my newer PCs. :)

Bah CS4. I just use Vi. If it's text it works great. Otherwise I just write in binary.

Who can convert the following binary into text and tell me what it says? :)

I know someone who has a bagphone. The transportable cell phone that plugs into the lighter.

I have a copy of the WordStar word processing program (about 25 years old). I still use it from time to time for specific purposes ... it'll cut and paste in columns.

I have an Atari suite that has Asteroids, Pong, Tempest and a couple of others.

1979... what a great year.

I have my parents Atari 2600 in a closet. I'm going to have to dig it out one day and see if it still works.

My sister called to say that she found my old Pong vid game console. It was in her attic, next to the black and white TV it was used on. I realize that we're talking software here, but that machine goes way back.

Is that the old tennis game, with a black screen divided by a vertical white line, two short lines on the right and left sides of the screen which only moved up and down, and a white dot which served as the ball?

If so, I had the exact same game. My father bought it for me from Radio Shack. I used to play it for hours and hours. Those were the days. :p:

It was indeed. It had two controllers, which were simply dials on the top of a stick. You had a choice of tennis, hockey, or one other game that I can't recall. They were all variations on a ball going across a screen. Great fun.
