Slow news day, just curious.

Right now I'm using (at home) Lubuntu, Firefox, and Deluge.

How has uTorrent worked out for you? I use to use Azureus but downloaded a couple of TV season stinkers that funked up my computer.

I love uTorrent, ever since I downloaded it I haven't even thought about changing clients. When I first purchased my laptop I downloaded Transmission and was not a huge fan of it. I just go to Pirate Bay and download the most popular files and skim the comment section to make sure they are safe.

Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Google Chrome
μTorrent (tweaked to remove the ads)

I just upgraded my windows box and am now running 8.1.

When on XP I was using Chrome and uTorrent.

Thinking of moving my client to a RaspberryPi setup.

uTorrent is the best, IMO. I couldn't get it to work properly on Linux or I would still be using it. Deluge is pretty good, but I cant get the magnet links to work.

Works fine for me. I have my Deluge client running on one of my remote servers in NL with the WebUI. I use the Chrome Addon Remote Torrent Adder. I right click on a magnet or torrent and add it automatically. I then use BitTorrent Sync to sync it to my home server automatically. This is for getting random torrents.

For Movies, I use Couchpotato, which interfaces with all of that. For TV, I use a modified version of Sickbeard, which interfaces with all of that.

These apps are great.

Yeah, I think the LXDE architecture Lubuntu is built on interferes with the magnet links. Not a big deal, I just add by the URL instead.

Sickbeard is interesting (never heard of it till now) so pretty much it interfaces with your torrent software to download episodes automatically? If that's the case id like to use it to catch up on Vikings and got.

I use windows 8.1 , Firefox , and utorrent.

It's designed for newsgroups. There is a fork for torrents called the pirate Bay edition. It's got some issues, that's why I modified my version, but yeah, that's what it does.
