What other O. Cordinators out there that suit parcells?

Ron Earheardt-Currently out of football (O/C in N.Y Giants with Parcells)

Dan Henning- Current O/C with Carolina (still under contract) (O/C in N.Y Jets with Parcells)

Ray Perkins-Currently out of football (O/C in N.E for 4 years with Parcells)

Charlie Weis- Notre Dame H/C (O/C in N.Y Jets with Parcells after Henning)

Those 4 have worked with him before in that role.

I am sure that he could find many more that would line up to be an O/C for Bill Parcells.

Not too bad on the resume!!

How bouts we done pulls Fill Simms out of the broadcastin booth and let him run things the way he like em to get dones.

Simms won up some big time games for Parcells while they was both playing for the New Yorker types.

Is there even going to be a OC in Dallas next year? Palmer is gonna be QB coach right? Parcells pulling OC duties?

OK King T.....let's hop in the back seat and zoom into the new millennium together. I've noticed people have been beating the doors down to work with Bill lately.:spanking:

^ What's the chances he coming back after all these years...

Dan Henning- Current O/C with Carolina (still under contract) (O/C in N.Y Jets with Parcells)
^He going to remain a panther and I doubt if he get sign even if he is fired...why?... because he help coach Vinny Testaverde... not drew bledsoe.. two different styles of Quarterbacks...

Ray Perkins-Currently out of football (O/C in N.E for 4 years with Parcells)
^This is the only maybe I see, because he was in N.E. with Drew Bledsoe and Terry Glenn...

Charlie Weis- Notre Dame H/C (O/C in N.Y Jets with Parcells after Henning)
^ Let's be honest, he not going to cut down on being a head coach at notradame for no daym Parcells...he wouldn't even do it for N.E. <but anything possible but I think Ray Perkins stand a better chance than Charlie Weis...

I'll say it again, I think Russ Grimm fits our style. He's never worked with Parcells, to my knowledge, but his style definatly fits ours. The Steelers and the Cowboys are simular in a lot of ways, from a philisophical point of view.

OL coach for Pittsburgh. Played with Gibbs and the Skinz in the SuperBowl days. He's been considered for the HC spot at both Detroit and Chicago. Excellent OL coach and ready to be an OC IMO. I believe he will be a damn fine HC some day.

Ugh, a Hog coaching here?

Why don't we hire Dwight Clark as a TE coach while we're at it.....

:wink2:

I respect Grimm. He understands how to control clock and use the running game. He was always a tough competitor and he understands Gibbs/Saunders offense. Hey, we hired BP didn't we? I'm not proud.

That gives me an Idea, why not hire Broncos Offensive Line coach... seriously..

I know, just funnin'.

And I agree with you, he'd make a good fit here.

But for the record I'll take former Giants over former Commanders or Niners anyday.

Former Eagles are right out though.

He's a good one. We would have to get used to chop blocks all over the field though.

Because the day the Cowboys decide to run that blocking scheme is the day before the NFL finally decides to declare it illegal.

You mean other than none of linemen fit their scheme? They like a smaller more agile oline and ours is closer to a big bruising line....and the chop block thing also
