Both Seattle and NE are coming to Jerry world next season so we'll find out how well we stack up.

Colts- 82%

Seattle-60%: their receivers pose no threat to our DBs and the Cowboys have proven they can shut down their weapons and contain Wilson.

Pats-47%: I think our corners shouldn't have much of a problem shutting down Amendola or Edelman. Gronkowski is a huge mismatch against us though so he would light us up. Dez vs Revis should be awesome and I think Dez wins that one. Plus Cowboys should be able to run it down the Pats throats as well.

It doesn't matter, but I will play:

Indy - 80% Over-rated team
SEA - 50%, depends on where they play
NE - 25%, that would be the hardest game IMO. They gameplan differently each game and ya never know what they are going to do. I suspect Bellicheat would find a way to play us well.

No team with a defense like that is over-rated.

We had our way with their defense and to be honest so did Green Bay. They just didn't capitalize in the red zone and McCarthy had a terrible game as a play caller. Green Bay could have easily blown them out. If we would have beaten Green Bay, we would be in the Super Bowl. I would have been very confident going into Seattle and expecting a victory.

I was telling my friends before the playoffs that I would much rather go into Seattle than go to Green Bay. Looking at it now, I really do think us and New England are the best teams and I don't see a close third

Maybe they didn't capitalize in the red zone because of Seattle's defense. We see scoring as automatic these days so it surprises some when the defense holds and they chalk it up to inept offense instead of good defense.

True the Cowboys kicked their butt, and I believe they would have again, though not as easily as the first game. But that defense stepped up when it really mattered, they hammered Carolina and held the baaaaad man from Green Bay to 22 points, even though Seattle's offense was MIA for the first 55 or so minutes of the game. Seattle is in the Super Bowl because of their defense. What Tom Landry said all those years ago is still true, that "Offense sells tickets and defense wins championships".

I do not disagree with any of that. I wish next season started this weekend.

Seattle - 40% we beat them but they're flying around now and Parnell or Murray could've made a big mistake In that one.

Indy - ******* like 90% I mean

New England - 50% great matchup. Would've been fun :f

0%, because we were knocked out of the playoffs last week...

We would have beaten Seattle, but I see New England as a better Green Bay. I'm not sure we can stop Green Bay from coming back and scoring if Dez's catch is called correctly. We made mistakes like Murray's fumble all season so it wasn't some aberration.

I'd say we would have a 30% shot against New England.

Seattle: I would have given the Cowboys a 40% chance of beating the Seahawks yesterday. I may have been wrong about the first time they played earlier this season but I wouldn't have been wrong this time. The Cowboys wouldn't have jumped on Seattle like the Packers did because the Cowboys have been a slow starting team offensively in a number of games this season including their 2 playoff games where they fell behind early. Even when the Cowboys faced Seattle in week 6 the Seahawks jumped out to a 10 point lead and they weren't playing as well then. Although Seattle didn't play well yesterday and Wilson had his worst day as a pro the Seahawks found a way to win in the most remarkable way and they would have found a way to win against a Cowboys team that still has too many issues defensively to hold up in a championship game in front of a hostile crowd. I don't think Murray would have been as effective this time around due to being worn down by all the carries he's had this season.

Indy: Obviously the Colts would have been the easiest matchup of the 3 teams we're discussing because the Cowboys handled them so easily the first time but that game was a little misleading because the game meant everything to the Cowboys who had the NFC East on the line and nothing to Indy. I mentioned a few days ago when picking Seattle and NE to go to the SB that Andrew Luck carries the Colts and outside of him that team doesn't have a lot which is why they got the crap knocked out of them yesterday. Luck is such a productive QB if caught hot he could have given the Cowboys secondary a lot of problems but I would have given the Cowboys a 70% chance of beating Indy in the SB.

NE: The Pats without question would have been the most difficult team for the Cowboys to beat in the SB. With Brady, Gronk and Edelman the Pats have far too many weapons to exploit the Cowboys defense. Although the Cowboys defense was improved from 2013 they simply don't have the pass rush or the ability to cover to keep Brady from having a huge day. Aaron Rodgers was dicing the Cowboys up in the second half in the divisional round and he was playing on one leg unlike yesterday where he was moving around well vs Seattle for most of that game. The blueprint for beating NE was put on display by the Giants in their 2 SB meetings with NE. It takes a solid defense to defend Tom Brady and the weapons he has at his disposal. With the Cowboys defense still a work in progress and the SB being held in a dome with the weather a non factor it would take a shootout for the Cowboys to beat NE so I would only give them a 30% chance of beating the Pats.
