I've been able to tell for WEEKS now that Jerry 100% wishes he hadn't extended Dim. But you know what....it's too late. He has NEVER been 100% in on Dim, and has NEVER loved him like a son, as he did Romo. All the idiot had to do was let the season play out and let him go along with Corky....but nope....that would have been too easy. So who in the hell got in his ear two (2) months ago and convinced him that it had to happen now??? Because they need to be strung up as well.
He signed him just to piss off mountain and pappy...

he did it. he could have made a deal earlier, but instead waited until an hour before first game of the season. when he had ZERO QBs under contract for 2025...but hey, it got a whole bunch of headlines and radio talk out of it, so it was worth it

You guys get too caught up in these salaries. Everyone is tradeable or cuttable. You need to be concerned with how crap your offensive line and receivers look or that 100 million dollar mistake at corner.
ROFL !!

all this guy does is try to prop Dak's horrible play by deflecting and blaming someone else. SO Obvious its Tad or one his cronies

Jerry and sonny boy are horrendous talent evaluators and after decades on the job are clearly unqualified. Add Jerry's fetish for being relevant and behold......may I present your polished turd.....the 2024 Dallas Cowboys.

It depends, pretty sure Atlanta wasn't in prevent defense there at the end. Has more to do with being decisive and getting the ball down the field
Exactly, Rush knows the offense and doesn't try to make plays beyond his abilities. He stays within himself and gets rid of the ball. It used to be that Dak was more mobile and had the ability to run which Rush does not. However, you can't say that anymore. Dak would rather chuck it up into coverage than run 7 yards for a first down. He protects his health now at all costs. Injuring his hammy on a non-contact play is ironic considering how cautiously he plays. Both he and Rush are statues in the pocket. Dak has a stronger arm but thats what gets him in trouble so often....trying to make throws he shouldn't. Rush has no such illusions about his role and abilities. I expect the offense to get better with Rush.

So it’s prevent when Dak is out there but when Rush is out there it’s not prevent lol? Weird.
Certainly didn't look like prevent to me, just saying rush looks more decisive and is not afraid to push the ball down the field. Like I posted in another thread I think the majority of Prescott's problems are from the neck up

Let's at least make these Dak threads interesting, or at least different. Let's say you could cut Dak tomorrow with no cap penalty at all but you had to commit to have Jason Garrett as HC for the next 5 seasons.
