Romo for the offense and Sean Lee on the defense. If we can get the running game going, we'll be a team to contend with.

Most disappointed in Randall on the offense and Claiborne on the defense.

Carter has room to play much better.

I wonder if somehow someway Dovonte Holloman finds a way onto the field and makes a big play or two.

I don't think the book is completely written on Hannah / Escobar this season either -- as ineffectual and seldom used as they have been they can still help this team.

Finally, no player can have a bigger impact on the Cowboys' success in the 2nd half of the season that Demarco Murray. He has to find a way to stay healthy. If he can, then this team can go places, if he can't -- I don't see any way they get to the promised land.

Most disappointed with Claiborne, I really thought he would launch himself into a top 15 CB this year, just it has never happened. Romo, Dez, and Lee give me hope that this team can finish out the division on top, though only time will tell.

I think Romo, Dez, Murray, Beasley and Twill can be depended on down the stretch, along with Ware, Lee, Hatcher, Scandrick, Selvie, and Carr.

I'm most disappointed in the coaching staff and/or Bruce Carter for not being able to get him where he needs to be to start and play ahead of Sims.

Same here, I would add Harris and Bailey.

I would like to see Brown, Wynn and Nevis step up in a big way on the d-line. They could certainly use more pressure!

The offseason has really already started for those guys, as I am sure that like Austin, a few might be discarded once everyone heals up and the draft selections are made.

Ware. Can singlehandedly transform the defense. Nobody is doubling Wilbur. If ware can demand a double team everyone's job on defense gets appreciably easier.

As far as disappointments go, yeah Bruce Carter is at the top, but I see a light. Then all of the RBs, especially Dunbar. Then Escobar. Then Claiborne. Leary isn't the stud I thought, either. Waters getting hurt is disappointing too. I was hoping to see more from Dez also. The only player who has been lights out is Bailey.

I'd like to see Ware back and healthy, obviously. I'd like to see what we might do rotating the rookie Ss in coverage packages with Church once Wilcox is back healthy. I've been impressed with Jeff Heath.

I've been disappointed with Bruce Carter, but he's one of the guys I'm most hoping turns things around and goes from a sometimes-liability in the passing game to a huge asset. That would require a big shift for him, but he's got the athleticism to do it if the defense ever clicks and he starts gaining confidence again.

Holloman is another one I'd like to see earn some reps on defense. He's a guy they have to be looking at, if he can come along quickly enough. He's always around the ball.

I'm intrigued with the idea of picking up Zach Minter now, too, along the DL. Basically, I want to see guys who can get us some pressure, and improve coverage, overall. The PHI game gives me hope that the big mistakes we've made previously might actually be possible to shut down. Roll that in with our takeaways, and we'd be a pretty effective team on defense, even though we'd still give up a lot of yardage.

I'm ho
Sadly this is pretty much it.

But if Romo can play at a high level we can hang with the best. Thats a big if.
I'm hoping Jones can

I'm looking for E Jones and a healthy Ware to take the defense to higher level. On offense, Dunbar needs to be a bigger part of the game plan. With that said Dunbar and Escobar most dissipointed in.

Coaching can make a tremendous difference in the league today. So-so coaching has lead to so-so results. I don't blame Garrett as much as I do the guy who hired him.

Only player I was disappointed in was rat... More so disappointed in the play calling. Our team could be so much better if we capitalized on the turnovers the defense gave us.

To those disappointed with Bruce. Pff gave him a great review this week and player of the game for us.
So maybe he's come around and the genius coaches will stop with the Sims stuff. I only hope

The guy was flat out dominating last year before his injury. You could see him getting better and better each week.
