What Position Needs a Playmaker

We've obviously got playmakers at QB, RB, WR, TE, CB, OLB, DT. But what position, if we seriously upgraded it, would put us over the top.

For me its SS. We've still been trying to replace Woody, and I know the position is interchangable on this defense - if we had a game changer back there it would make our defense unstoppable.

Doesn't have to be a ball hawk, or a huge hitter - but just a safety that knows how to make plays and capitalize on a defense that creates great pressure.

So what position do you guys think we are seriously lacking an impact player?

Runner up: ILB (would love to see a nasty, freakishly athletic guy come an anchor our middle for years and help take some pressure of Ware, Ratliff, and Spencer.)

I can't add to anything that you said. We definitely need a playmaker at safety and ILB. Players with side-line to sideline range.

I think you answered your own question.

Safety and a young ILB to groom.

I'm starting to like Sean Lee. Keith Brooking 2.0

Or Carpenter 2.0 depending on who you talk to.

For some reason I like LBs from the SEC. **** it, I just really like drafting from the SEC in general.

I hope we don't get complacent at those positions though. We've got like 12 guys from the 09 draft that still haven't touched the field. I like Mike Hamlin but I don't want to go into next season with the same exact defense on the field. Especially since Wade hates to play rookies.

SS? Joke right.haha not funny

Sensabaugh can run man to man against Sidney Rice. I don't replace him, infact he is in the upper echolon of SS's.

FS on the other hand, i'd take like 29 other starters over Ken Hamlin, and i'd take Alan Ball over KH.

So I think you meant FS, atleast I hope you did.

The position is basically the same in our defense.

I like Sensy a whole hell of a lot more than Hamlin. In fact I like the other Hamlin more than I like Ken Hamlin.

I just know that if Earl Thomas is there at 27 this team is gonna be in a tough spot.

i would love to see the cowboys get a good hard-hitting safety. i don't think we've had one of those in a long time.

never heard of an echolon

your homer shades are off the chart bro, sensy is very good but he is not one of the best in the league, he is upgradeable. that being said i trust him back there and trust him in his role and ken needs to be replaced more than sensy but you are also way over exaggerating that ken is 4th worst FS in the league.

I bet I could find 29 people I would rather be my FS, ofcourse i'd go threw backups and fantasy moving people to FS so ya 29 would be easy.

I didnt say sensy was great, I meant echelon Sensy is in the 12 best SS's in the league, he is upgradeable but a majority of teams have worse s's

Hamlin is a business man, I can see him being in Valley Ranch for a cpl yrs! Is anyone else getting the feeling Jerry is due for a Kavika Pittman or Quincy Carter type draft?
