After other teams have made their cuts, what positions will the Boys seek?

1. OL--1,2 or 3 players--C,G,T

2. WR--Outside receiver hopefully with P/K R skills

3. QB--Practice Squad

4. S-Roster or Practice Squad

What positions would you think?

Good Point, I don't think they're getting what they want out of Connor and Carter. Good players but maybe something better out there.

You want to find a starting MLB through cuts?

Lmao..yeah, teams just cut guys w skills for no reason

I don't think you are going to see us pick up a vet receiver at this point. I think we are going with what we have.

I think we might pick up a center, but I can't see one getting cut that would be much better than what we currently have. If I am wrong, this is one occasion, that I would happy be proven wrong.

I don't think we pickup a safety either, unless Johnson is out for the year and put on IR.

I don't think Connor has shown much so far either, but I don't see us picking up a linebacker at all.

In this first round of cuts no one. Next round we may go after a linemen

g/c combo or if their is a better vet than Pat Q that shakes free.

Other than that I do not see us going after anyone unless a surprise cut happens on a really good vet that still has something left and he is a no brainier then again we may have to fend of other teams for that type of player.

Easy on the sarcasm. It's not unheard of for good players to get released alla Laurent Robinson. The Cap is one reason. Getting younger is another reason. A guy that was injured and thus never got an opportunity to beat out the incumbent starter. Or going veteran over youth could be the reason. There are plenty of reasons, either way, I agree, MLB is not looking like the strength I though it was. But I think Carter is going to need some time back there...he probably also needs to figure out that Sean Lee could and should be his best friend.

Romo made Robinson

If Romo can make is a starting MlB too, he might be the best player in the history of the nfl

Center's a no brainer. We've got to bring in a good waived center. Arkin has stepped up to the plate and has done all that anyone could expect and has performed admirably in what's not his usual position. He gets props for doing that, but we need to bring someone in after being so snake bit at that position. Costa will get healthier and will come back. Coach Callahan was high on his performance in camp before he got hurt, but there were question marks on his abilities to say the very least. We would be crazy not to at least look at someone else, at least to back up Costa, and possibly even to start.

Absolutely ridiculous. The Cowboys WILL NOT be looking for a middle linebacker to replace Carter OR Connor.:bang2:

We probably aren't looking for TE3 anymore. OG, OC, and T are all options if the right player is available. I think we're happy with our WRs right now as a corps, but if the right guy with ties to Robinson were cut, we'd probably take a look.

On defense, we might look at a veteran S. I suppose it's possible we'd bring in someone along the DL, but it's pretty unlikely anyone we like better than the guys we've got is going to be cut loose.

I think we'll keep at least three spots at the bottom of the roster that we rotate players through to see if we can find a gem at best, and to keep people uncomfortable, at worst.

Yeah I agree, can we at least give Carter a healthy year to get acclimated before bailing on him. Everyone cries an moans that Dallas doesn't build their teams and when they start trying everyone cries and moans it's not fast enough or the players are no good... After ONE year. SMH

There has been nothing wrong with their play and I am sure the Cowboys are happy with the rotation and depth. I think it is more people wanting all pro's at every position. Oh we can just replace this guy with some scrub and he will be better.

What ever

I second that motion -we need a center:bang2:

VET center is what we need:laugh2:

I think they will look for some olinemen but they are going to wait for the 53 man cut own on that no one in this next cut is going to be looked at anything but possible PS players.
