Well, Jerry, you got your wish. Everyone's talking about the Dallas Cowboys. Except, I don't think you like what they're saying. Well, bub, you'd better listen, because you brought all this on yourself, and your fans. You're the one who wanted to turn the Cowboys into a circus. Now you have a real freak show going. Take a bow, you old fool.
Character doesn't matter, does it Jerry? Owens has his one hundred first tantrum, dance around your office over the media frenzy it created. The punk CB from the Titans you brought in to help turn his life around gets drunk & beats up on the body guard hired to protect him from himself? Hey, bring him back for an encore. You have enough high character players to offset the resentment it created.
Me-O brings our bright, hard working, but sensitive All-Pro TE who has broken every Cowboys record at his position into a soap opera. Hey, he's a professional. It won't effect his play. Neither will it affect your franchise QB that Owens has begun to alienate. It won't even make any waves with half of the defensive players who have taken Owens side. Everyone says it's because Owens wants to win so badly, that he wants the ball. Take a look at the Thanksgiving game against the Seahawks. Romo throws the ball to Witten in the end zone for the third TD of the game. You can see TO with his arms at his sides walking away from Witten. Roy Williams, who's further from Witten than TO, runs towards Witten with his index finger raised. Even though we had gone way ahead of another team, Owens still pouted because the ball went to Witten instead of him. No jealousy??!
Yeah, Cowboys fans, we have a real dilemma here. Where I live in NE Ohio, the owner is about to fire the head coach & GM for a poor performance by the Browns this season. Our dilemma is that the biggest problem facing the Dallas Cowboys is the owner. Can't fire the jerk. Well, we can only hope when he finally dies, his son will have better common sense than his dad. What do we do in the mean time?
