What really has changed in two years

in terms of results.

We canned Wade after 1-7, yeah he had to go, lost the team, embarrassed on national TV on a Sunday night etc. I get that. We had been ***** slapped at home by the Titans and Jaguars blah blah

Firing the coach all the time becomes an exercise in futility to say the least. It can't always be the coach or so I like to think.

However, when you think of it, two years later, here we are coming off a nice little loss on Sunday night, have won a measly two more games than the Wade team, are pretty much out of the playoff hunt already, not showing much improvement in result.

I know there are many here who know more about football than me, some of them love Garrett as the head coach.

Perhaps those people can convince me why Garrett is the right choice? If you constantly lose close games, find ways to lose, take dumb penalties turn it over (last night being the exception), when is the coach at fault?

Garrett is trash...........there is nothing anybody can tell you that is going to change that. He should have never been hired as HC.

He is one of the worst play callers I have ever seen, his game plans are so simplistic that most of us on this board can guess the play 90% of the time before the ball is even snapped, and he is absolutely the worst game manager I have ever seen (timeout usage, clock management, ect....)


Like I said, this is nothing the 3 people that still think Garrett should be HC can tell you that is going to change any of this. As long as Garrett is HC, get used to losing and drafting in the top 10 every year.

Nothing has. Redball was part of the original problem. A lot of us didn't want to see him get the job while guys like harbaugh were never considered.

Garrett had no resume to even be considered a HC, especially for the Dallas Cowboys!

There is too much on his plate and it is obvious he can't handle both jobs. The no-challenge on Beasley's catch(it was a first down) proved that yet again.

He is robotic, predictable, boring and stubborn unwilling to adapt. After all of these years, he still can't see or change his style of play that best suits his team.

I don't know about the rest of yall, but I can't wait to see our receivers to continue running go routes, 7yd outs to Witten along with the same three types of run plays. Of course, these are all utilized at the(obvious) wrong times. Hey, they are showing blitz, everyone run deep!

There are numerous problems here though, but I am sick of even looking at Red, he has to go. I want a coach with a personality and passion, not the same old rhetoric game after game.

Our WR's are just plain horrible too. I watch other teams and their receivers actually make plays. Other QB's throw it up and let their guy make a catch, at least break it up. Our guys? they fall down or misplay the ball on most occasions. We miss Robinson in a big way. Funny thing, I bet Cole could handle that duty, but that will take Garrett another three years to see that. Miles is ok, but he is not in the same class as Roddy or Jones, not to mention many other NFL WR's. He is what he is, a decent receiver but is not a #1. He would look a lot better with a true receiver on the other side IMO. Dez and Ogletree are not cutting it, we need a better WR out there.

Just too many problems to fix the offense, but it has to start somewhere and that is the play-calling. If you know we can't block well, do something to counter it, not keep doing the same thing over and over again. Put the players in the best position to win.

Since Dez can't be counted on, I would have him run a deep post every single play clearing out some room. Add in one more receiver and let those three tear it up over the middle, worth a try right? It can't be worse.

Sorry, I am at my wits end with this offense. I never wanted the red head to begin with, now I am stuck seeing him every week

I hold onto my view that he lost the team when he called a timeout to ice his own kicker. We lost three of four to end the season after that, and have lost five of eight this season. Eight of twelve and nine of thirteen including that game is a disaster.

Our offense has continually gotten worse since Tony Sparano left. He was the genius behind our O. I would give anything to get him back.

It is Mr. Jones fault. You can't arrest Coach Garrett when Mr. Jones asked him to do the job knowing full well he wasn't qualified. Just another example of Mr. Jones thinking he knows what he is doing. Coach Garrett's team are just as undisciplined, inconsistent, and as stupid as they were under Coach Phillips.
