A couple things I noticed right away.

Dallas kept their linebackers in coverage alot. I only recall a couple times they blitzed their MLBs. Wade blitzed them what seemed like every down.

I even saw lots of four man lines rushing on passing downs and the OLB dropping into coverage. It seemed to confuse the game plan the Giants had planned on.

The offensive line was doing something right because Kitna had all day at times. And Felix was running harder into the hole.

Only one meaningless turnover and only 5 penalties.

No sacks for the vaunted Gmen.

The stats show they got one for -3 yds.

Really only 4. The PI call on Mc Cann was complete BS.

I think that came when kitna just fell on the ball in the red zone.

MINIMAL penalties and total discipline with the exception of the dumb and dumber tiff that sensi and tnew had.

If you're talking about the kneel down at the end of the half or game, they count those as run plays. I don't recall the sack, but the stat sheet did show one.

I agree... I'm just glad that the majority of the momentum stopping penalties were on the Gnats

Thats right. Gurode stepped on Kitna's foot and he dropped.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I'll bet it was the play where Gurode stepped on Kitna's foot, causing him to fall as he was coming out from under center. That's the only possible "sack" I can remember.

Edit: Sorry dfense, I must have posted this about the same time as you.

none bigger than the tackle boothe made on the td to nicks.

When Barber dove for that first down on the first possession, you knew they'd be giving 100% today--win or lose. And any time Alan Ball intercepts a pass, you gotta like your chances.

still can't wait to see him gone..

but you are right.

i told my wife and kids.....i still hate him ...but i love him tonight.:)

One of the biggest things that stood out to me was that the DL maintained their lanes and played the run hared.

The other thing was Bradie James was hitting people. Giant effort to stuff Jacobs on the 4th and 1.

Yeah no doubt there lane. Finally a game where the penalties AND the turnover breaks go the Cowboys way.

that stop on 4th down was probably the play of the game as it turns out.

In thinking about the game a little more, if the play where Kitna was stepped on and fell was a sack (as it was correctly called), then why wasn't Dallas given credit for a sack on the bad snap play when Eli ran back to try and get the ball and fumbled? To me, that should have been ruled a sack, as well, but in the stats, Dallas did not get a sack.
