What should they do at number 2 receiver?

It was hard for me to come to this decision but we should draft a receiver at 12. It appears we will get the first shot so if Tet or Golden are legit, the Cowboys should take one of them. The receivers in free agency want money so I would leave them alone.
Time for another TET offensive.

DT matters who is there. At 44 if Grant were available he would make sense. Although he's another Michigan DL.
He’s probably better than smith but who gonna sit? You just reupped osa and have you given up on Mazi ?

I could be wrong as I can be more than I like to admit but I just don’t see DT early

Stop gap for what? Making plays on the field? Dallas has too much youth and inexperience at WR. Get a dude in the locker room that can still produce while showing the young guys how to do it.
he is older. so they would still need to add some talent. CD is top 3 WR in the league. the young ones need to learn from him as well. but I think the WRs are limited. so we need an infusion of new talent. they are all WR3 at best, good WR4

The look of intensity at a high level …right ?

Someone mentioned Courtland Sutton for 12 and you get Denver’s 20 . Not bad but that creates a hole for Denver not sure why they do this unless they draft a WR with 12 . Plus he’s an unrestricted FA after this season .

Your renting him for a yr to move down 8 spots but he would help Lamb by loosening up the secondary . Plus it allows you to address another position at 20 . Maybe DT or continue to juice the O grab Hampton at 20 for a strong North South Feature back .

He’s older but had 800 yds and 7 TDs last year with a porous Bears offense. How about dependability? I’m done depending on guys like Tolbert, Brooks, Mingo, and so forth. They’re garbage. At least get another dude with some skins on the wall.

I didn't disagree with you. he will only benefit us. like I said, those other guys are WR3 at best, most probably WR4. we need WR2, to take pressure off of CD, thus we need to also draft one. I wouldn't resign Tolbert unless its a minimum deal anyway, so this is his last year unless he blows it up

A big decision is coming at number 2 receiver. As of today it looks like they have several options.

1. Sign Keenan Allen. This would cost them some money. Maybe 12 to 15 million a year on a 2 year deal.

2. Trade for Courtland Sutton. Maybe they could trade pick 12 for Sutton and pick 20. They then would have Sutton and could draft their running back and the do have the cap space to sign Sutton to a multi year deal.

3. Draft Tet McMillan, or Emeka Egbuka, or Golden. This puts the 2 spot on the shoulders of a rookie.

4. Sign Tyler Lockett and still draft a rookie.
let the receivers play it out
