What specifically impresses me most about Dak

Every year there's a hot new rookie QB who glides through the first half of the season, beating teams either with either pure athletic ability or else because of some gimmicky offensive scheme. Eventually defenses adjust and quarterbacks like this go from unreal to beatable in a big hurry. I swear it happens every year.

But Dak is different. I don't know why no one is saying this, but his success doesn't come from his legs or his speed or anything like that. He's simply a prototypical NFL pocket passer with incredible football IQ and the nerves of a veteran QB. It's the same reason no one has ever been able to "adjust" to Brady...you can't scheme against a quarterback with that kind of skillset; you just have to hope for the best in other phases of the game.

I know it's early, but every game we get a larger and larger sample of data to draw from. Sure the OL is All Pro, and Zeke is playing out of his mind--but teams have still been able to pressure Dak and get in his face, trying to force him to make mistakes. But he is beating defenses the way that all consistently good quarterbacks have done since the beginning of time.

We're witnessing, in real time, the beginning of a very special career.

It truly is unreal what we our witnessing. He is on another level as a human, not just athlete or player. His accuracy under duress is consistently clutch. Zeke and Dak are breaking new records in every game... unbelievable.

Just think of the confidence he's gaining with each of these huge wins. This will take him so far.

It was not his best game but he still produced enough to get us a win. Some of his missed throws are because he is a rookie and doesnt get his feet set properly when he throws ,this was so evident on his INT.I think he will learn from today that he doesnt have hurry his throws before setting his base to throw because this Oline will give time.

The funny thing is all the Garrett haters are about to watch Garrett and Dak become the new Billy/Brady.

Great post. What impressed me the most was how he responded to the INT.
I agree man! I mean he had a couple tough spots in that game but he kept his cool and just came back that much harder.
His ability to throw accurately under pressure is great!!
