How is schedule difficulty a measure from Heaven and Earth? And you didn't mention crowd noise at all, and I'm guessing that you have yet to be to a Cowboys game at the new stadium if you too are claiming that the crowd noise is not loud.

No, seriously, Tsu was talking about the context of war...the setting. In the Civil War the North's ability to fight from the high ground just south of Cemetery Hill proved decisive. In WW II the Russian winter proved as much of an enemy to the German forces as did the Russian troops. But in modern football the important CONTEXT...is your schedule and the location of the games.

And you didn't mention crowd noise at all, and I'm guessing that you have yet to be to a Cowboys game at the new stadium if you too are claiming that the crowd noise is not loud.

I have not had the opportunity to be at the new stadium, but I've been told that while it's better than the old one...it still does not compare to the ear-drum-busting volumes in N'Orleans, Minn, Ariz or Indy.

Generally there is little moral law between two football teams. You don't have a Great Britain versus an imperialistic Germany.

However...I do think it helps when your team feels deserving of a victory. This can be attained when you as a player and as a team believe you have merited victory by greater hard work and dedication.

I'll play. I believe that this factor worked to a large degree for the Saints last year. The comeback from Katrina, etc.

Wade Phillips is a very underrated coach in terms of Xs and Os. He may be the single best defensive mind in the game today. There is little doubt, however, that Phillips is fundamentally more a Defensive Coordinator than he is a "General." Phillips coaches essentially only the defense. He is not the emotional fulcrum of the team as Jimmy or Parcells were.

The Cowboys may very well win a Super Bowl this year, but I think Tsu would contend we lack a true General. Jerry Jones' desire to be GM and head coach diminishes us.

Wade has the mind of a great coach but he does lack that intangible "presence" that some others such as Tom Landry or Jimmy Johnson had. I will take him any day of the week and twice on Sunday over Parcells though. Parcells was team builder but he was a pretty sorry gameday coach.

I think that this is a bit overly pessimistic. I do see where each of these teams presents a significant challenge to us. However, I suspect that those coaches are looking at these same games with an equal amount of trepidation. It will come down to execution and individual matchups.

As far as the Heaven and Earth aspects of the games there will almost always be an advantage to the home team. The Cowboys however, have probably the greatest national following of any team and will hear more cheers for them at away games than is typical. This will mitigate the noise aspects to some extent as it has for years.

I don't think the Giants can pull it off again this year. History has shown a significant ebb and flow of the momentum of these two teams against each other. It should start to flow the Cowboys way again since the Giants have had such a successful run against us.

Actually I think that is a very good point. I believe that Wade IS deceptively competent. I was not in favor of bringing him here but he is starting to grow on me. But this is his Show me year as far as I am concerned.

Tzu was a punk. Every battle has the right strategy. And with each stragtegy comes an appropriate weapon. Sun Tzu talks about that for awhile in his book. But he always comes back too the same punk *** thing, avoiding a good head on fight in favor of some long trip around a mountain , stopping to smell the roses or drink some tea or some other pasnsy crapolla.

Football at its purest form is aggression. The aggressor wins. You hit your enemy in the mouth and see if they will get up. If they do you hit em again harder!

When it comes to warfare i prefer Mao Zedong.
