I think you should change "all his apologists" to the few fools that still don't get it. "All" gives the wrong impression that there are actually numbers of them left.

At this level every player in the league has enough talent to win. The difference is the coaching. Not just the ra ra part of coaching. The part where players are put into positions to succeed as a unit. There is nothing bigger in the NFL than coaching. Great coaching can take middle level talent to the SB. Poor coaching can take elite talent to 6-7.

I assume that, by good coaching, Belichick means setting a strict dress code for road trips and standing up at press conferences. Everything else is on the players. So we're good here.
