That is slipping every year. Do you realize that at one point , a Cowboys Merchsndise sold more than the other teams combined? That was the case during the time that they were labeled as America"s Team. Dallas does not field consistent winning teams. To cling to one season as a sign of success is pathetic. Dallas has not been a consistent playoff contendor in years, too many years.
Seems there are a lot of fans in the middle on here...they claim to be fans but yet seem to hate them at the same time. Or at least hate everything they do and don't do. They criticize all moves good and bad.
Sign X player, the FO sucks, another team signs same X player, the FO sucks.
Now they say they don't care about the Americas team title or we don't deserve it anymore...they sound like the mediots that want to give it to other teams, for no reason...so I say let them go root for a non America's Team...
Troll thread
No team has ever taken the title away and no team ever will. The America's Team nickname has never had anything to do with winning or losing. Neither has the popularity of the team. You all think it's a coincidence that the Cowboys are the biggest draw in the NFL even after the drought you speak of? There's something magical about the star. There is an aura around the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. It is sad that longtime fans do not appreciate this fact. Be angry about results on the field, but always appreciate the unique qualities that make the Cowboys America's Team. Look no further than the jealous (yes jealous) boos when Zeke was taken at #4 overall. Nobody booed when San Diego picked before us or when Jacksonville picked after us. Why? And what about the look on Ramsey's face when he realized Dallas passed on him? The Cowboys are relevant. There is evidence everywhere. When we have success on the field again, it'll be so nice when certain folks have to clam up.
