Some of the posters on this forum, including me, have been discussing the likelihood that DeCastro will be available at our #14 draft spot. What teams might select DeCastro above us, or leapfrog us to take him. I would think that moving up more than 2 or 3 spots would be cost prohibitive for a guard, even Decastro. So, what teams in the top 16 teams might target Decastro, or select him in a trade down scenario?

According to some mock drafts, seems like the Cardinals could have an interest in him.

And I think there was some talk that the Jags could have interest in him as well. (I read that on this forum.)

Arizona is the only threat IMO.

...but Whisenhunt LOVES to run and can't with that crappy line: this would be a VERY good pick for them

Arizona and Carolina not considering trades are the top two.

Arizona it appears is the main threat, just like last year with Patrick Peterson. All eyes will be on that ugly step child once again.

Kansas city at 11..need guard and tackle

Out of all the talk of the cowboys selecting Upshaw, Kirpatrick or Decastro Decastro is the guy that'll more than likely be there at 14 and I don't see any teams trading up into the early part of the first round for a Guard, offensive Tackle...yes, Defensive end..yes, corner....yes, quarterback...yes, Guard Not happening regardless of all the idle endless useless chatter...

The NFL has really needs to move the draft up atleast a month....

Also, I would think Cordy Glenn being available makes it pretty unlikely a team would try to jump in front of us for DeCastro. Biggest concern at this point is DeCastro not making it to 14.

I would add Kansas City to that list, as they need line help also.

I figure the chances are real slim of a trade up for DeCastro, although there are some teams right behind us that can use OL help. They would also be options if Jerry wanted to do any kind of trade down with someone who wanted DeCastro or especially Luke.

Luke being an Eagle isn't a good thing for us if we pass on him.

KC and AZ...panthers nonsense is just that. No chance Carolina takes him

From what I have read and heard, the Dolphins, Panthers, Chiefs, and Cardinals in front of us and the Chargers, Bengals, and Bears who are behind us. The Bears might be better off with a WR though.

Although the Cardinals can use help pretty much through their offensive line, I think they will target an offensive tackle and grab one of the top three at their pick...
