366 points allowed so far this year. 2nd worst in the NFL to Denver (376).

This as opposed to last year where they were 2nd in the NFL to the Jets.

321 points scored. 8th best in the NFL. Better than any team in the NFC North. Better than any team in the NFC West. Better than any team in the AFC North.

What am I telling you? This Draft will most likely be Defensive heavy. I would love to go Interior OL and maybe get a feature RB like LaMichael James of Oregon.

Be prepared now so you're not disappointed then.

Patrick Peterson remains my #1 Draft hope, but Nick Fairley would be a very nice addition. I like Prince Amukamara and Brandon Harris as well. Safety in round 2.

Re-sign Spears.

I think a new DC is likely because of this stat. The Packers have only allowed 189 points this year. Just saying.

My fear is they will do nothing with the oline again since it has improved under garrett.

I share this fear, but if we fix the D, is that a bad thing?

I would like to see us sign Logan Mankins and let Davis go. Move Kosier to RG.

I'd draft a CB with the first pick and plan on moving Newman to FS.

Why would we move Newman to Free Safety?

I don't think he'd be enough of a physical presence in the run game.

Does the 321 include the defensive and special teams touchdowns? (counted 6 touchdowns, 42 points)

I think to only use the points scored stat would be a big mistake.

The O-line needs a huge overhaul. Running back we are fine. Defense need new safeties and linebackers.

Thats fine and all.. We need defensive players..

But if we don't replace Colombo and Davis it's going to be more of the same next year.

2ndary and Oline are our 2 biggest concerns.

This is my exact hope.

And Newman would make it about 1 quarter before he hurt himself.

He is not a safety. Just not durable enough.

I think defense might be how it plays out simply because of Draft positioning. Based on projections, there are no O-linemen worthy of the top half of the draft. It is heavy on QBs and WRs, both of which Dallas will not take that high. The other positions are D-line and DB, which we do need. Some of the D-linemen are not a match for the 3-4, so there will be a very select pool of targets, many of which will be DBs.

I hope that we can somehow get Peterson, but that is probably a Pipe-Dream.

Totally agree with most of that;
That even the cowboys will go defense again in 1st round
I do like Peterson and Fairley, but yuck on Prince Amukamara & Brandon Harris.
We do need to resign Spears, possibly let Hatcher go, he keeps getting injured when you really need him.

Best thing that could happen to us Hostile is that the Panthers, 49ers, Buffalo, Arizona all need a top QB.
Luck, Locker, Newton, and Mallet could possibly all go high in 1st round Hostile, that would allow us to get Frailey or Peterson.

And still get a good safety or offensive linemen in 2nd round.

Dont forget DE Bowers either Hostile, pretty good DE.

If somehow we can pick 7th or higher in 1st round we might be able to get an impact player like Frailey or Peterson, if 3-4 top QBs go in top of draft in top 5. Then, you have the impact WR J Jones too and A.J. Green.

Most draft experts have us taking Marcel Dareus DE Alabama, Dareus reminds me of a Marcus Spears, but Fairley is alot better to me.

You know we're 4-9 right?

You're right, he wouldn't be.

He's a cover corner, not a safety.

Ignoring the offensive line yet again simply due to stats would prove that Jerry is in fact the loser he was talking about when he said, "Stats are for losers."

How's the run game doing?

I can get behind not taking skill players because of points scored but ignoring the offensive line would be an epic failure.

I think we will beat Washington and Arizona, which will push us back to around 8-10. Peterson will probably go top five.

The most important thing the defense needs is a good coach. I'm convinced that some of our players can be salvaged with a good DC. Spencer and Jenkins in particular. That's why I don't think it's #1 priority to get a defensive guy in the first. It's likely because of who'll be available, but the OL DOES need help. It can't be ignored again and again and again because we can sometimes succeed with them. It needs to be a strength of the team.

However, like I said,we'll probably be looking defense in the first, since our needs on offense don't match the value in the draft. Fairley, I like alot. I think he'd add the most to our defense. Prince, Peterson, Harris also solid options.

But after that, I want at least 3 OL drafted. We need serious help there. We can't keep going into games with a wussy, half-the-playbook game plan because we're scared our big uglies are gonna fall down and get Romo killed

It what areas has the OL improved under Garrett?

Listen to this man. He is exactly right.

I think we will sign some vets on the oline and try and continue to develop the Phill Costa and Sam Young like we did Free
