i'm the biggest homer/ diehard fan as you can get..

this stupid , weak, spineless bull**** has just about tested my last nerve.

rob ryan?

garrett?

weak , stupid players?

i'm going to be honest.... say the jets won....even had romo not been injured..we would have got our *** kicked.

our o- line knows that we might have to go in to next week possibly with mcgee as our starter and they just allow him to get rocked time and time again.

Players are too busy reading that they suck on the Zone every day so they start to eat the stinky cheese.

bad drafts + too much loyalty to vets + bad free agency decisions.

quarterback....check.

running back....still looking for someone to remain healthy b/c we didn't draft johnson or mendenhall years ago.

oline...terrible drafts for the last decade. houck = fraud. overpaid leonard davis. no capable backups very many years

wide receivers...no legit slot receiver, bad route running...overpaid for austin.

tight end...check.

defensive line...a collection of jags. zero interior pressure on qbs.

linebackers...brooks reed was drafted two picks after bruce carter. spencer is what he is. bradie james and brooking are still here b/c jason and bradon williams were bust.

secondary...mediocre play is rewarded here. sensy, scan both paid for mediocrity. elam is tough but not a playmaker. newman is an albatross. no youth...depth is atrocious.

Anyways the problem is we lack talent in the trenches. Everyone loves to talk about all our talent on the outside and quarterback, but if you can't protect the QB or get key stops does all that talent really matter? No it doesn't. The fact that our coaches are morons doesn't help either.

I watched Cowboy's Game Night w/ Nate and Tony Banks. They were lamenting that when Romo got hurt, THE D LET DOWN! I thought on a good team when the O has a problem the D steps it up. When Garrett played for Troy, the whole team carried him; the Oline. the D; everybody kicked it up a notch and helped this smart kid from Princeton be successful.

We need to first upgrade the scouting dept to find us more Sean Lees. Guys who really have pride in what they are doing and work hard to prepare. I posted a couple of days ago, most of these defensive players don't care a whit about playing in the post season. Ware and Rat and Lee are the only ones worth a flying you-know-what. Brookings sounded like a complete fool this evening in his post game.

Secondly, we need some defensive coaches that can teach players good fundamentals and techniques and get the most out of their talents. Rob Ryan is a lot of talk and hot air for my two cents.

I think Jones (Jerry) fears coaches like this as they threaten his authority w/ the players, so I've always said we'll never win anything w/ Jerry running things. I would love for us to go to NY and beat the Giants, but it ain't gonna happen...

IMO players are the FIRST to blame. They are just not very good. Just. Not. Very. Good. Of course there are exceptions.: Ware, Rat, Lee, Romo, Witten, etc. Don't even get me started on the players I think should be gone already. :D

It's mostly the lack of talent, but the whole organization is just terrible. The only thing the Cowboys are good at is marketing.

Would any other owner leave his box to speak to a coach in the middle of a game? :lmao:

Agreed to all your points. This is definitely not the Cowboy's of yesteryear ... this defensive nightmare dates back to last season when Wade got all the blame for a piss poor defense which in my opinion quit in several games. New coordinator, the same if not worse results !!! As for Garrett I can't figure him out just yet but he has made several gaffes this season which has cost the Boy's at least 2 games despite the horrific defensive performance. Ex. Pats game with 3 minutes left, Cardinals game not using his timeouts ...

Small point but needs to be made about today's game ... why is Garrett not calling any of his 3 timeouts with about 2 mins left and the Cowboy's badly needing to avoid a shutout? Also, remember back to the last Cardinals game when with 30 seconds left he simply let the clock run down to 3 seconds to set up a "gimme" 49 yard field goal while saving both timeouts for ... oh that's right to freeze his own kicker.

Timid playcalling against the Patriots with 4 minutes left in the game presented Brady the opportunity to slice and dice this sad excuse for a defense and win with seconds left in the game. Even today did anyone mark how the Eagles went 95 yards in less than a minute to score a TD?? Total disgrace if you ask me. Every week I hope and pray that Ryan has coached em up during the week yet nothing changes. BEtween the two Eagles game this year I think the Eagles converted just about 75% of all their 3rd and longs. The defense get's rolled on and the offense can only do so much especially when it is handicapped by Garrett's playcalling. Someone mentioned on the post game thread how the fans shouldnt be upset since only 20 points were given up today. May I point out that easily could have should have been 27 since the fumble outside the endzone was a gift from the Eagles, and not the Cowboy's defense manning up and doing their job. I have been a fan know for close to 35 years and live and die by this team's performance ... how sad that this day has come where a must win is necessary to qualify. May the tide turn but I expect nothing at this point hence shielding the pain from another defensive collapse.

i know many of you might not have seen the game tonight on tv today.... but there was a moment where ware looked at ryan with evil eyes and actually yelled something at his fat ***.

Aside from a handful of players, we are not that good. Feel bad for guys like witt and ware.

basically if you want to pin point it to one person, it's jerry jones.

he has control over all aspects of this organization and he is the one consistent in these 16 years of misery (well campo too).

if you want to blame the players, blame the man who is responsible for personnel decisions.

if you want to blame the head coach, blame the man who hires the coach.

Ditto. There are no substitutes!

Rebuilding year, both from a coaching standpoint and from a player's standpoint to a degree. The Eagles were in a rebuilding mode last year and made the playoffs with a HC with a decade of experience under his tent/belt.

Give Garrett 5 years more experience and we'd be 11-4 right now.

We need parts and pieces here and there, but we're also going to improve the valuable pieces we already have during the offseason.

I think he asked Rob what happened in the secondary to allow the 2nd TD. And Rob answered, in a pissed off manner himself; "Hell if I know!"

Obviously, the execution is not at a level to be expected. Our secondary, even with double coverage still manages to leave guys open- in the end zone no less.

Reid never lets up on a team if he has them down, he keeps them down and scores when he can. Whatever happened, the defense looked much better second half. Disagree with keeping our starters out there- but they looked pretty good second half. Without Romo, we had slim to no chance at a win. With that o-line looking like it did, Romo will have slim to no chance next week.

Hope these guys can all get it together all at the same time for 60 minutes next week, or we can all start talking draft and free agency. :p:
