what they are saying in Seattle re Hamlin

Who gives a crap what Seattle fans say? They have had what....1 good player in the history of their franchise? I sincerely doubt Seahawks fans ability to judge talent.

If you're up for a good laugh, head on over to the seahawks huddle message board. In between the "cowboys suck" and the "america's penal league team" comments, the general sentiment over there is that Hamlin is a joke. Then again, I'm not sure there is a poster over there over the age of five. If someone knows of a decent seahawks messageboard please share a link. I would be interested to hear the opinion of an adult seahawks fan...if there are any.

well since a cowboys player hasn't been arrested in years and last year cincy took over the title of most arrests, it appears their overall powers of observation is what SUCKS.

all quotes from the Seattle times :

Bingo. Between Williams and Hammer always looking for the big hit the middle oughta be open

Haha man...if their corners don't do great this year, then the Boys' are screwed for next season in the passing game.

Doubt it...the guy is a good player, but he doesn't have the covering skills.

While I hate to disagree, I have to -- Hamlin will help the Cowthugs. That team started a rookie FS for most of last year in addition to spot playing a special teamer at that spot. Based on this alone, Hamlin will add experience to that position which can only help them. The Hawks shoulda done something to try to boost his price simply to screw Dallas...not really a feasible idea, I guess. I woulda felt more comfortable had he signed in the AFC.

I'm not entirely sure why some people are going to miss Ken Hamlin. Sure he made a couple good plays and he hits hard, but he is not a solid fit on this team. You all watched the games last year...the reason we gave up so many big plays was because Hamlin and Boulware can't cover worth a damn. They were in the box safeties who excelled against the run. With Grant and Russell we can allow Boulware to play in the box and Grant can play center field where he excels in coverage. Forget about Hamlin, he was incredibly overhyped throughout his career. Let the Cowboys enjoy his gloating and chest pounding and the penalties that come with it. Here's hoping that we see the 'Boys in the playoffs this season so we burn them deep and have the Hammer get pissed and give us a few penalties.

Go 'Hawks!!!

Play action, go deep against the boys.....easy money.
Cowthugs? What's that?
Didn't an offensive tackle for the Seahawks pound his girlfriend in public last year? Hamlin almost gets killed in a bar fight? And then there's Jeremy Stevens......
