When Jimmy won is first Superbowl with the Dallas Cowboys an interviewer asked him the secret of taking the youngest team to that point and coaching them to win.

He had a simple answer. Read the book Flow

I read it and it has made an impact on my Life.

This team is missing the "Flow" experience.

It's a great book. I have it here, next to me, on the book shelf.

I have no idea how to pronounce the guy's last name though.

:)

I know it's a tough one. Do you agree? I mean i watch this team drop balls and miss interceptions and key blocks and they seem to be out of sinc. I think this is coaching. They need to stop being told what to do and just do it in an optimal state. Jimmy would always get them thinking in a positive manner.

Jimmy has a degree in industrial psyche. I've always enjoyed listening to his approach.

I think the team clearly lacks focus. Is it possible they are too focused on not making mistakes?

Who knows.

I do know one thing, they are underperforming. And sooner or later, that falls on the coaching staff.

I agree! one of my pet peeves in when coaches say things like "this game will go down to the wire" That sets a vision for the team to take it to the wire instead of putting away the game earlier. I heard that from Parcells yesterday, so what happens? We blow our chances to pull away and it goes down to wire and we lose.

Many people tend to underestimate the value and impact of leadership.

The talent level in the NFL is pretty close, with the exception of a few teams either way.

Leadership is key.

This is no different than any other business.
