What time wasting free web games do you play?

Go to armorgames.com and all of the popular games are good. Kingdom Rush is my favorite though.

I used to play this one, but it's so addictive. It's like crack.

It's like a 3,000 hour game of chess. You lose sleep, the whole bit. It's really fun after you build it up though. The alliances thing can be a little tricky and you can't control that, but it's a good strategy game if you like to build and think and make alliances.

OK, I'm going back to my parents' basement.

Anyone know of a good football game, MMO or anything?

Exactly. I quit playing games in 1990 except for a few games of Tiger Woods Golf (Christmas gift). I have never played any online games.

As I entered my senior years I became more interested in making a meaningful contribution to society instead of pleasuring myself with meaningless time-wasting personal amusement which really served only to delay any possible contributions to society.

At some point in our lives we must realize that it is time to stop taking and start putting something back. The legacy I wish to leave behind is one who helped make some people's lives a little better rather than yet another selfish boob who never did anything worth mentioning.

Life is good if you make it good.

Free online garlic games....I know you are tempted by the power of the garlic...it's ok to be serious most of the time but sometimes you have to have a little fun.

Boggle.

I guess during my downtime while at the office, waiting on work requests, I need to be figuring out how to make a meaningful contribution to society from my cubicle instead of pleasuring myself. ;)

I agree. Sometimes I watch music videos or Irish dance but mostly I come here instead of playing games. Mostly I just lurk but sometimes I post.

Not really, you're doing the right things for your age.

WV got it right when he said the older you get the less time you waste.

Strange as it may seem, as you age your values change and the more aware you become of how you use your time and things that used to be important to you drift down the priorities list and new values seem to condense out of thin air. Next thing you know, you are saying and doing things you once thought were weird but now they're your priorities so you really don't care much what other people think but you are less inclined to argue about differences and more inclined to let perceived slights go instead of reacting to them.

Life is good anyway because people make it good.

Exactly.

I don't play games but I do find other outlets for my necessary relaxation because it is required for good health.

Thank goodness I'm still young then, because when I turn 51 next week that will be quite a relief.

I don't even know if it's around anymore, but I used to play Planetarion like it was my job. Even paid for a couple of rounds.

Amen. We can only try.

Eh, bob, we should crash a Mensa party soon. Aw, you know what I mean. We all indulge a lot in our lives. It's how we find pleasure. But a lot of philosophers and even just regular, smart people will say it's the things you accomplish in life that make you happy.
