What to do about Wide Recievers next year?

TO will be 35, Terry Glenn 34, and the #3 WR is Creighton. If they go into the season with those three guys as their top 3 WRs its a receipe for disaster.

You've gotta keep T.O. and Crayton. But use Crayton as a #3-4 at best. We need to bring in a top notch receiver to compliment TO.

They way crayton played today and the way he has run his mouth i say cut him! I dont care about the extension at all he is a joke and im sick of it. we lost the game becuase he quit on a play today!

We have to let Glenn go as he is too fragile to depend upon. We will have to search FA for another #2 WR or sign a 1st or 2nd round WR in the draft. We can continue to try and develop Stanback, Austin and Hurd as all are young and show some promise.

Obviously it's questionable if Glenn returns next year. In any case his replacement is not on our roster so that must be addressed. There is your #2.

Crayton will be back as #3.

Left in the mix is Stanback, Austin and Hurd. Stanback obviously returns. Austin and Hurd has some flashes but I'm not convinced they are anything more than #3 WR's at best.

I'd like to see a vet WR and a very early draft pick spent on a WR this off season. The vet to replace Glenn and a top prospect to replace either Hurd or Austin.
