What to Expect when Expecting Falcons

No way we would've won this game with no Cooper. Might have to top the 40 we scored against Jacksonville to leave with a win.
The Falcons will score, but the Cowboys defense is good...I don't see the Falcons crossing 30 against us but of course I could be wrong.

To win this one, roles will most likely have to flip. Up to this point, the Cowboys have been carried by their defense, but with that ailing front 7, the Falcons will find paydirt more than once. If ever there was a game where the Cowboys need the Dak to Cooper connection to take off, this would be the one.

Really would not be surprised to see Gallup take the next step in this game. If Cowboys passing attack can hurt the Falcons then we can also expect a big day from Zeke. Falcons will not be able to put too much attention on Cooper without getting gashed by Zeke or opening things up for other WR

It's maddening because we all know the potential is there.

We've seen Zeke at his best and when he's playing at that level there is not a single running back I'd take over him. Period.

We've seen Dak be decisive and masterful in the pocket; albeit 2 years removed. But it's in there somewhere, the coaches need to figure out a way to pull that out of him again because I suspect their jobs depend on it.

We've seen Cooper be a beast that will literally break your corner....if Dak can start hitting him deep, the offense very well could be unstoppable...particularly up against a defense like the Falcons.

But they all have to put it together at the same time, something that we haven't seen much of lately. Here's hoping!

Yeah, hope (and pray!) the coaches have a good game plan. We have the talent to beat them, but...

Think it’s going to be a higher scoring game.

The Dallas defensive line is pretty damaged as to injuries...and that may be a tough factor to overcome, here and now. The depth will be weak, up front for this game. Get the salt tablets out and tape 'em on the ouchies.
..the DL for being injured or damaged, played damn well Vs Philly. Big difference was having Gregory back. Him and Dlaw on outside are specialist. In our advantage we have fast LB's. The secondary is most suspect, but not by huge margin.

I think Falcons will put up yardage but I will trust my defense to keep them out of the endzone . Atlanta has scored big in some game even some they lost but they have also had 3 games where they failed to score more than 17. Their home record is 3-2 so it is not as if they have been dominate at home.

I believe they've scored at least 30 points in 4 of 5 home games so that's the blueprint right there. Clock-consuming drives that end in 6 like 3 of them against the Iggles, except this time we will need at least 5. Balance the run and the pass and no more settling for 6. For goodness sake, put the ball in the hands of your playmakers inside the 10.

I know they are capable of putting up points I also know they have failed to put up big points in 4 of their games this season. I do agree that Cowboys must do better in the redzone, right now in terms of redzone TD Cowboys are 24 at 51% they have to do better over the course of the remaining games including of course Atlanta game.

The key to victory in my opinion is we have to score TD's while they score FG's. The Eagles held them to 2 FGs and the Giants held them to 3. Also, do you guys think that the AFC North is better than the NFC East? The reason why I'm asking is because the Falcons are 0-3 against that division.

There were five defensive tackles/ends that missed practices this week...

Guys are out, hopefully we’ll have enough guys for the game, we’ll find out more today. Maliek Collins will practice, Antwaun Woods won’t. We don’t expect Taco Charlton or Daniel Ross to do much if anything. (We are assuming David Irving won’t practice either though it wasn’t specifically mentioned at the press conference).

Yes...I'd say overall the North is alot better than the NFCE. In fact, top to bottom I'd say the NFCE is the weakest division in the NFC this year.

I fully expect Atl to right their ship with Ryan turning in an all pro performance and their WRs running wild. Meanwhile, some no name on their defense will make a name for himself against us and the heat will return to JGs seat until next week.
Atl is about as consistent as we are and they are coming off a disastrous performance while we are coming off a big win.

The safeties, not the CBs.

The Falcons are a 3-point favs vs. Dallas in Sunday's contest. Can Dak and our receivers overcome that advantage? It'll take our best effort to win. I'll remain hopeful for the best to happen, although the onus is upon the Cowboys to prove themselves finally capable of overcoming them and their elite scoring capabilities. You hear that Dallas defense? You will be seriously challenged, so let's see if you're capable of rising to the occasion, OK? ;)
