Randy Gregory. He's been on the team a good 17 years and only played a handful of games.

Tapper. It fills a need, and show that the coaching staff knows what they are doing at finding DEs. Plus with Tapper's measurables he could be all that and a bag of chips.

I think Taco was actually drafted to be the left end. I think the right end spot is already penciled in with Tappers name on it. The team just doesn't want to tell the fan base that the drafted a left end and letting them know that they are relying on Tapper.

There are probably others whose impact would be more important but I really want to see Rico become a real weapon. Just imagining how good this offense can be if he works out gets me excited.
When I saw your thread title, my mind said Rico before even clicking the thread. I'm super excited about his adjustment. If he can have half of the success of a guy like Antonio Gates who also transitioned from basketball, I will be on cloud 9. Yes. He reminds me Antonio.

I'll drop a name that's kind of been forgotten and is probably more of a long shot..

Damontre Moore. He's somehow still only 24 years old and had his fair share of maturity issues, frustrating fans because the ability is there for him to be a valuable contributor at RE. Hopefully he's grown up a bit, and from the interviews I've seen since he joined the team he seems humble and understands this is likely his last chance. He's the latest revival project Will McClay has brought to the team, but falls in line with the philosophy and physical traits they look for in these types of guys. Uphill battle for him because the DL room is a little deeper than it's been in recent years, but he's got a chance.

Jaylon. I'm a Notre Dame fan and never imagined he would end up on the Cowboys. Then once we selected him I never thought he would come back at full strength. It now appears this is a real possibility and I couldn't be pulling any harder for him.
