What was the most painful loss of 2005?

That was a crazy ending like the Week 2 triumph. Strange. You guys were down 13 late. It was De Javu.

Whoever these "chokers" are(or lack thereof), this 2005 season has REALLY been ONE WILD ride for every team. Not only that week 2 Mon Nighter, but alot of games this season have been decided by big plays at the end on O, D, or special teams.(the biggest surprise was that blocked FG in the SD/Philly game) And who would have thought too the roof caving down on Pittsburgh and Atlanta recently?

Looks like there will be one too many wrinkles left in this old 05 season-including a few in the Boys/Skins game.;)

November was a gut wrenching month for me. Beat the Eagles. Lose to TB on a blown call. Choke on the Raiders!!!! ***!! Then the Chargers. We had them dead. Then Casey Rabach committed a holding penalty to put us out of FG range. The St. Louis game had no stress at all. I wasn't content at 5-6 but the playoffs weren't in the equation either. We won and I was happy with that. Then Dallas and Atlanta go and lose and Minnesota starts playing a role. Then when I check records and ponders scenarios I realize that "Hey, we have a shot. We need some help but at least we have a pulse." Beating Arizona was the important part. Getting help didn't happen against the Chiefs. NOW we can gain some control of our fate by beating Dallas.

Yeah-that and unfortunately for us Dallas fans, your team also has a blazing conference record. *ugh* Fortunately, those "chokes" you performed were against AFC teams. Our "chokes" against your team and the Hawks hurt more. :(

Guess we'll see-the PTI guys(Tony and Mike W) couldn't even make a prediction for this game. Thought there were just too many gray areas.

I haven't seen it yet. I record them and watch later. BUT no prediction?? Gray areas??? Have Tony and Mike checked theirs?? I guess they want a tie.

On Around the Horn-JA and Tim C liked Dallas, while Jay and Woody liked Wash.

Pretty much-both Tony and Mike agreed both teams are evenly coached, matched, and has ALOT on the line-which is why they ended up shrugging their shoulders.

Oddly though-this game has hardly gotten much attention in the sports media. It wasn't at the top of the headlines(nor mentioned frequently) on many of the ESPN/FOXSports shows.

Denver game. So many chances to put it away and beat a good team.

Commanders by far. 2-14 is a good season for me. Just beat the Commanders!

The Seattle game may have proven the most costly over time, but in terms of how you felt after every game and the morning after, what was the worst loss of 2005? The one you want back the most?
I picked Washington, but man, that's five total suck butt losses.

Well, Washington hurt because they are a HATED divison rival, but the Seattle game was JUST as painful to me... we HAD that game!

So my answer for this season's TOUGHEST loss for em to handle are BOTH games - the MNF game against the Commanders and the VERY costly loss to the Seahawks.

GO COWBOYS!!!
