This was his worst performance in years.

Lee finished the loss with four total tackles and a tipped pass. The veteran linebacker just didn’t display good lateral movement as Newton juked past him (in fairness, Newton made several Cowboys defenders look bad).

Also, is LVE really taking Lee's spot on the field? What will we do with Lee?

Just posted this in another thread, but is it possible that after the rule change, he's hesitant to tackle as hard as usual? I wonder if fans of other teams are noticing a change in their LBs as well.

dunno but in addition to getting juked by Cam, or misdiagnosing the play in general, I also saw McCaffrey embarass him on what should have been a tackle for loss, and Byrd run through him and then throw him off him.

Lee and tyron have a lot more miles on them then they should for the age tbh. Not sure both arent retired in the next 2 years. 2 great dallas players but Injures and having to do too much takes its toll.

With a rain delay...the team forgot to come out of the dressing room ready for a game. No excuses there...

Bobby Wagner looked like crap for my hawks today, he was non-existent.
I think it had more to do with a crap game than the rule change.

Saw a RB a shed Lee during your game. More than likely just a bad game. He’s a gamer, I wouldn’t be too worried about him.

They should just make Sean Lee watch all his game film in a wheel chair at a nursing home...so he gets the message of where he should rectify his own body of works.

Lots of problems tackling. Not just Lee.

I didn't watch, but I suspect there was a lot of that across the league. Isn't camp basically flag football now?

Tackling is a skill, and needs practice. Players, and particularly vets, don't get that practice before the season starts anymore. Vets barely even play in the preseason games, which is the only actually tackling before the season starts.

Even before the NFL got so protective, I thought teams, or just the players, should rent low budget players as tackling targets. CFL. Guys who can't make the league. With the money they make, they could pay these guys pretty well. And they'd probably like the exposure to the pros.

He was the biggest problem at lb yesterday

Yea, he was bad but he does have pedigree on his side to overcome. He has proven to be a stud, the rest can't say that. I think he deserves the benefit of doubt for another game or two

He should play better next game but he owes his teammates the next time they’re struggling with something gamechanging because he was giving up some huge plays. Unacceptable for a mlb in my opinion
