To all that are trashing this past season: Be honest, if you're this disgusted, what was your early prediction at the beginning of the season? I bet not many said 12 wins and a playoff win. I bet hardly anyone did.
Before the 1st Tampa game, most thought 9-10 wins were reasonable, but after it with a back up probably more like 4-5 wins.
Frustrating and disappointing that we lost, but I thought we would have maybe 10 wins. And maybe squeak in the playoffs by some miracle.

What did you think?
Have a great day!
I said 10-12 wins, but I remember a lot of people saying 5, 6, 7–and THOSE are the people screaming the most now!

Aaannnnddddd here we go. Was wondering how long this would take. I figured at least a month....NOPE, 5 days.

Step 1: work on convincing everyone to ignore the feeling of disgust we all have, and start thinking this season was a success.

Step2: once people convince themselves losing a divisional playoff game for a nfl record number of times in a row, was actually a successful season, THEN its time to pour a big ole glass of The Kool Aide, and buy rigjt into 2023 again, with Dak, Jerruh, ZEKE and KM and company.

We...are....good.....ooga Wugga ooga wugga.... we...are....good.... ooga Wugga ooga wugga... BRAINWASHING COMPLETE

GO DAK, GO ZEKE, HOW BOUT DEM BOYS DERRPPPP DERRRPPPP DERRPPPP

I had them at 12-5.
I always predicted them to go 11-5.
When the schedule increased, I gave them the extra win.

Big Mike has met my standards two years in a row now.
Something the red headed alien never did.

After the offseason I thought 9-8 would be an optimistic prediction. I was wrong. I had concerns about Steele and Biadasz on the offensive line. I had questions about Tyron Smith and Connor McGovern. As it turned out the OL overperformed and Steele turn out to be one of the best run blocking OTs I have seen in a while.

All in all the Cowboys outperformed my expectations in almost every facet of the game.

Well I think I predicted something in the likes of 9-8 or 10-7. And when Cooper came on I said let's wait and see.

But I knew that our play off chances would be once again slim. Didn't care too much about the regular season. This year I kept my excitement low until the play offs started and went with a "game to game" approach.

So while last season ('21) was the back breaker for me (as in "we're going nowhere with this QB") this year was rather some kind of confirmation. I would have loved to be proven wrong by Dak and the guys, but it didn't happen that way. He ain't bad, but also simply not good enough. In order to be successful with him, they have to build this team around him accordingly. Don't know if that can be done with the cap they have left.

I had the most fun with Rush's wins, not because I like him more or anything, but rather because I liked the no nonsense, time consuming, no mistakes strategy they had to go with due to Cooper's limitations. I wished they would have stayed with that with Dak too.

All in all once again a wasted year. And yes, anything but a SB win is a waste of time with this team. After 27 years there is no room for celebrating winning regular seasons anymore. That's not good enough. At least as far as I am concerned. So I'll prepare myself for alot of dull years for me as a fan. And switching teams is no option.
It was fun, every time they won a game it got more exciting.

Once I found out that we were in the top 10 of easiest schedule I knew there would be a lot of empty wins

yeah, we get the “W” but it doesn’t give one a true gauge of the teams ability.

let’s see if the eagles having the leagues easiest schedule is fools gold…..they can prove it this weekend
I agree, our ability was tested and we crapped out. Gonna be an interesting game.

What are your other choices?
A)Come here everyday to complain and cry?
B)Switch teams and never look back?
C)Borrow a few billion, buy the team, and run it the way YOU want?

You’re smarter than everyone else. You’ve got it all figured out. What’s the plan?

10-12 wins playoffs at least. Most of these clowns had 8-9 with the offense being bottom of the nfl.

After 2021 , I thought we will repeat as div champs , didnt predict eaggles rise , they did moves which we never anticipated, like getting AJ brown, Suh, and improving D …

i had them at 11-6 , they did better than that, but had them winning a home game and losing div round, so Thatwas correct

Borrow a few billion? What’s your plan, lottery tickets? Good one!

I’d wager A.
No.... I just took out 30,000 mortgages on your house.

That's all it took.

Don't worry..... when I get this team in the SB in 3 years, I'll win it all back, and you'll be in the clear.

I might even throw in a bedroom set for you.

I like oak myself. What about you? Are you an oak man?

I can’t remember but I think I predicted 8-9 and finishing behind the Eagles in the division.

The team did much better than I expected.

Well, it seems this season was an ultimate success after all!!!

I realize now all you need to do is predict mediocrity or worse prior to the season...that way, if you achieve a WildCard win before bowing out, it's like winning the SuperBowl!

Next year, I predict we go 3 -14 (ooooohhhhh, I think I'm in for a pleasant surprise Next year!)

After losing Cooper and Gregory and not really signing replacements, I thought we would take a step back. I was expecting 8 to 9 wins.

Then tyron Smith got hurt. In Tampa we sucked royally before Dak got hurt.

After that game, I was expecting 4 to 5 wins and a top 5 pick.
