What will Dez add to the offense if he comes back this week?

As the schedule gets more difficult you're going to need someone better than Butler lining out wide.

I read he most likely will be out again this week. What looked like a week to 2 weeks has turned to 3.

Are you really surprised? Pretty serious injury. Most of us realized it would be 3-4 weeks before he got back. Dak has good chemistry with other guys right now so....don't rush him back or we could lose him for whole season again. If we keep running the ball like we have, it won't matter frankly. GBay gonna stack that box this weekend and make Dak beat them.

IF the weather is decent (6 days away and extended forecast says sunny and 64 degrees) he'll do exactly that. Kid is obviously special. They'll get after him and try to rattle him but it won't work. When Matthews gets chippy I'd send Fred or Martin after him and pile drive him so far into the turf he wouldn't think about trying it again. Hate that cheap Byotch

I'm gonna say if he plays he gets like 50 yards on 4 catches. Comething like that.
He might as well not rush it and comeback in 2 weeks or so, get really healthy.

A worry for defensive coordinators during the week of preparation. Even when he's not producing he is. That attention allows role players like Beasley, Williams and Saint Jason to do work.

His presence would mean the return of one of the best red-zone/goal-line targets of the past five-plus years. He also presents a threat that defenses must be wary of at all times, even if he isn't targeted as much as we think a high-dollar receiver should be. Stack eight in the box, and you've at least got to be concerned what he might do to a receiver in single coverage.

I just want to see out best team......we haven't seen it since 2014

Dak will be there but Tony can do more things right now

We like to think he can anyways. I know one thing for sure, the Romo we saw slide into that hit vs Seatle was running stiff before he got hurt. That slide was as unnatural and uncomfortable a slide as I've seen, and thats before he got hit. He also was complaining of a sore back before that game. So lets consider the possibility his back wasnt right prior to things going terribly wrong. Ive thought all along Romo comes back, but he cant start if he is stiff and I couldn't imagine pulling Dak if we were on a 5 game win streak either.

Edit: I apologize for bringing this debate into this thread. I think Romos bothersome back prior to the injury has been overlooked quite a bit.

Dez hasn't produced like an elite receiver in quite awhile. He hasn't been the same since he whined for a new contract.
He was injured last year and when he came back who was the QB again? In 2014 88 catches 1300 plus in yards 16 td's As far as him whining for more money,I have no problem with the players getting all they can get careers can be very short in the NFL.

Wow. You don't think they leaked that without a purpose. That man has played his but off and got paid the market rate for his effort. They were just using it for motivational purposes.. not for fans to start hating the dude.

Dez will be Dez soon enough.

I sense a lot of anger..
No Dez hate here, bro. Love the dude. The fact of the matter is, TWill is the better blocker in the run game. That's not hate, it's just a fact.

For whatever reason, Dak and Dez don't seem to have a lot of chemistry as of now, so Dez's greatest advantage right now would be drawing away defenders from the other guys. Once they back off of Dez because they feel he can be single covered, then that's when I think we start lighting them up with Dez.
