I'm getting a lot of 9th game flack from my resident Jills fan at work.

Looking back at his first year there, he did have some extremely rough outings in the second half of the season. But I think his protection was lacking and the defense let them down a lot that year. Looking at his game logs, he had way to many games where he was throwing 40-50+ times. That's a recipe for disaster.

But yeah, the Jill fans are just waiting for the "other shoe" to drop.

Go back and tell them if they had a head coach like ours, the Bledsoe experiment could have worked.

Parcells, tho a defensive specialist, and never known as a top developer of quarterbacks, oddly enough managed to get the best season out of Vinny Testaverde's life, resalvage Quincy Carter and probably get the ONLY good year out of his career, win with Ray Lucas, and is now restoring Bledsoe.

In fact, under Bill, perhaps even Losman could become an NFL quarterback.

As long as the Cowboys can protect Bledsoe, he should continue to excel. The one game where the Cowboys protection broke down was against Oakland and that was far and away Bledsoe's worst game. Its not that he was bad that game, but he got hit repeatedly in that game and as a result, the passing game really struggled. Parcells will go all out to keep Bledose upright because he knows Bledsoe will struggle if he gets pressured. I can understand Buffalo fans and media be skeptical of Bledose and his ability to keep it up for an entire season though. In his first season in Buffalo, Bledsoe was sensational for the first half of the season, but his numbers dropped way off in the second half of the season. But, I have a feeling that Parcells knows how to get the best out of Bledsoe so hopefully, he will be able to play at a high level for an entire season.

I'm not sure what'd be funnier. Buffalo getting beat by "Tecmo Bowl Testaverde" after we chose not to resign him and he sat on the FA market the whole offseason and then some, or Bledsoe on pace for the best year of his career after Buffalo dumped him for Losman who was subsequently benched for Holcomb after 4 games.

Will Interceptaverde run Holcombmania out of town? Only in the NFL.

Please don't waste your time at the range, BB.com, billzone or any of the other homer bills sites trying to reason with simpletons.....most fans i know are now starting to realize what the real problems in buffalo were: bad coaching and management, and no offensive line...not drew bledsoe.

The ones hoping for a collapse are so dissillusioned and bitter over bledsoe not being there that they need something to get them through a dismal fooball season in western NY.
