That is the risk you take signing Owens your risk of losing games goes down presumably, however the cost of losing goes up as well, that being Owens causing problems...

TO already said that he would not renogotiate his contract. Rosenhause already said that TO is a superstar and the Cowboys organization is treating him like one. There will be no problems. Mr. Jones did the right thing. Owens complained about his money so he gave him his market value even though he could have low balled him.

Adam Shefter just said that TO/Drew told all teams that they wanted 8.3 a year matching what the eagles were going to pay him.

There is a clause in the contract, The roster bonuses in 2007 and 2008 don't kick in until June 1, to insure TO is going to workouts and camps like a good little soldier.

It depends on how you look at it. When he starts crying and pouting after this season and Jerry (if he has the guts) says but terell you said....... and we cut him its a good thing.

If he has a big season this year he will probably pout and demand more money...maybe they'll tear up the contract and give him more, maybe not. Doesn't really matter.
