What will our record be to finish off the season?

Dallas went off on a 3-0 start, but have fallen off massively since then. 2 debilitating losses to contending teams may not have hurt as much had our team not look complete garbage through these two games. Last night against the Packers especially, I saw a team that had no willpower or desire to win. Terrible on both sides of the ball, all game. Those last drives were garbage points as the GB defense let up in their 27 point lead. Had Dallas actually tried in either of these losses of a game, I wouldn't be angry, but this team looks way worse than they should be. Realistically, I see this team going 7-9 at best after looking at the rest of a schedule and with the disappointing way this team is playing.

Anyways, what record do you think Dallas will finish off with?

@NYJ: Probably a W, but I won't hold my breath.

PHI: Not sure on this one. They're our toughest division rival and we "always" matchup "well", but after defeating them both times last season, its going to be hard to do it again this time. Maybe Dallas will clean it up by then, but I doubt it. This game is at home so we could come out on top with luck hopefully on our side. W.

@NYG: Though they are way better with Daniel Jones, they're still a hot mess of a team, especially on defense. Though it won't be as easy last time, especially with us being away from home, I can see us scraping by with a W.

MIN: Minnesota is an off and on team. They look great some games, and other times they look horrendous. Depends what team we get and how Dallas decides to play that game. Being at home may give us an advantage, but if the Vikings get it rolling with their RB, and Diggs and Theilan, we're done for. Our D can't even handle nobody WR's or a backup RB in GB, so how can they handle actual starters from the Vikes? an L is likely, but we may strike out with a W. Once again, I won't hold my breath.

@DET: Lions look pretty good this year, believe it or not. Not contending great, but good. They will give Dallas trouble. I'd even say the Lions are above Dallas right now. It doesn't help that we will be traveling to Detroit for this game, but Lions choke under pressure and in the spotlight like Dallas does, so this game may be closer than previously thought. I still see an L on this one.

@NE: No further explanation is needed. This is a L.

BUF: Though their defense is top 5, their offense is not. Our D will probably still struggle against a mediocre offense, and with our easily injured O-line, Dak will have pressure all in his face, leading to a scared "seeing phantom pressure" performance and Zeke will have no holes to run through. This will be a low scoring game, or it will be a blowout from the Bills. This is a L.

@CHI: Though the Raiders came out with a win, it's not as easy as one would think to go up against the Bears D. Dallas offense falls apart at the slightest hint of pressure, which Khalil Mack and Co will definitely bring. Our Defense SHOULD (likely won't) have a good day against this mediocre offense, rather it be with Trubisky or Chase Daniel, but I doubt it will. They will likely run their fresh RB, Montgomery, against our piss poor run-D and make Trubisky look like a Superbowl caliber QB. This is a L.

LAR: Though they have looked inconsistent and sloppy these past few games, they have shown that they can adjust (hence their comeback), and they lost off a malfunction of a kick back in the Thursday night game. Though Goff can be a turnover machine (our team doesn't get picks so he won't be when he plays us), he can also lead his team downfield when needed. They also have a wayyy better coaching staff than us. Todd Gurley is hurt and they don't have CJ Anderson to run all over us again, but that won't stop them from running all over us. Our secondary will not be able to handle Bradin Cooks or Cooper Kupp. Aaron Donald has not lived up to the hype, but I assure you our O-line will allow him to get all up in Dak's face.
This is a L.

@PHI: After defeating them in the last game, Philadelphia will be back for revenge. With D-Jax and their "inconsistent" running game, they'll have a field day on our secondary. As much as it pains me to say this, we need to admit it. Philadelphia is miles ahead of Dallas right now in every department. Philly will get W this game and lock the division. This is a L for Dallas.

WAS: No playoff contention at this point. This will be a game for "fun" and they will probably end the season with a W.

All I can say is, hopefully JG will be fired after this season. That is all. We will likely finish 7-9. Maybe worse, maybe better. What do y'all think?

I think we win the division. To me that's all that matters new season after that

8 games against playoff caliber teams is not promising. Especially given the results of the last 2 weeks. 4 of those are on the road. Rams, Minny, and the Eagles at home. Be lucky to win 2 of those. Giants, Jets and Skins should be wins but you never know. 9-7 or 8-8 is looking like the path. Incredible but probably true.

not gonna predict the record, but 8-8 is the worst possible scenario

either get a top 10 pick or make the playoffs, no in between
