What will really happen with Carr? On the one hand

Making Carr a post-June 1 cut saves the Cowboys $8 million against the cap in 2015, but he would count $7.434 million against the 2016 cap.

But on the other hand...

If the Cowboys don’t designate Carr a June 1 cut, then they will save $566,000 against the cap in 2015, but he will not be on the 2016 books.

I think the Cowboys really need to find a big CB in the draft and to have on the roster. I don't think you need exclusively big corners, but in this day and age you need one or two to matchup as most teams now have size at WR. As you saw in the Super Bowl, Matthews was far less effective when Browner was defending him. I don't hate Carr like some on this board do, but it has to come at a reasonable price.

I think he takes a pay cut. Seems to like it here and he did step up late in the season. I think the loss of his mother hurt him.

I hope he stays, I mean he's not gonna get anything close in the open market, just need a pass rush.. He was actually playing pretty good the last 4 or 5 games

Would like to have him on the roster at a cap friendly deal, but also look to upgrade the overall secondary in addition to D Line
