What will the Vikings game tell us?

I am looking forward to this game. The Vikings have a very strong defense but are having trouble offensively.

If this game goes according to script, we should put up enough points to beat the Vikings and win by about 10 points. This defense is likely to be a defense on par with Seattle and could be a preview of what we will face playing Seatttle.

I hope that we continue to show offensive efficiency against this defense and learn from it as we prepare for the playoff run.

Check out their run defense stats. They really are not playing like they were in the first 5 games. Zeke can do some damage against them.

That's why I said what I said. They are tired from being on the field all day. I am on record as saying the Vikings were overrated when they were 5-0 and even at 6-5, I think they might STILL be overrated......not by me. One of the worst offenses in the league. They not only don't score, they don't get first downs.

To beat Dallas? Maybe give our non-existent OL brass knuckles and tasers! But they would still called for motion and get pushed backwards all day.

I have been watching the Cowboy games this season with Game Pass, as I spent the money on it and I would LIKE to see some real quality football being played. Their front line is Amazing!. Even though our team is about to get humiliated on national TV, watch the game anyway and watch their OL. How far back do you old timers need to go in Viking films to see REAL OL play that makes for a great offense? A decade? They run complex blocking schemes that are timed like broadway choreography. It just gets me more pissed off at Spielman. Jerry Jones is a bit of a jerk but at least he is a football guy who knows that you cant have success without a rock solid OL.

The only thing that would be discouraging is if we allow an erratic offense with a horrific and injured OL put together enough drives to score 20+ points.

However it would not be shocking if a top 5 defense playing at home makes it really tough on the Cowboys offense.

We can't expect things to go according to script every week. Our defense is starting to show more cracks every week so we're going to have to continue our offensive efficiency if we want to keep our winning streak alive. We're only two games up on the Giants and they hold a tiebreaker so with five games left we have to keep winning.

Amazing what a winning season does for Jerry's rep.

Was thinking the same thing.

It did always baffle me that Jerry--a former team captain on a national champioship team and former o-lineman himself--spent several years completely overlooking the Oline.
He used to say that Romos mobility allowed them to go light on oline investment.
When they finally put big resources into the line, the physical damage had been done.
