The normal past four years where we analyzed the TC time of each of the backup QB's and followed each of their passes in TC? It made for interesting reading and curiosity of which backup QB was coming along.

I think I am actually going to miss that this year!

Speak for yourself.

Those debates were some of the worst.

I rather enjoy a somewhat settled QB situation.

Not me, it will be a breath of fresh air if we are not dealing with some type of QB controversy. I would love nothing better than a quite training camp with no problems or injuries.

What I really liked about it is that we got a play by play of a lot of TC which I think we will not get this year which is dissapointing.

I like the settled QB situation no doubt.

Besides, was there really any question on backup last year?

Hell, last year the focus was more on starter.

Nevertheless, I'm with Alexander - I'm ready for some stability (let's hope Romo can do that long term).

A play by play of training camp will probably still happen.

Remember each year the coverage gets better and better as more and more "bloggers" go to camp. I am sure with the San Antonio aspect, you will get the level of detail you desire.

For some reason, those don't really tickle my fancy.

You are joking, right?

Last year around this time Bledsoe was the starter and the Henson/Romo wars were still in play. Once Henson was cut and the preseason began, Romo started getting more momentum as starter material.

after that seattle game, i don't think there was a fan in there right mind that didn't want to see Bledsoe gone.

I remember sitting at the houston game, and hearing them chant Romo, romo, Romo,

and when he came into the game, oh man did that place explode. I actually felt bad for bledsoe. If he threw an incompletion, he heard Romo's name chanted around the stadium.

The question in the initial post was about the training camp time - not mini camp or voluntary camp, and not THIS time of year.

Before TC then yes, Henson was still in the mix - although not really in my mind.

But in TC and preseason - when we could actually follow each of the passes (again, from the initial post), Henson was out of the picture.

He'll always be linked to the Cowboys. Like it or not, he has a legion of followers who will always be loyal to him. He'll be 70, playing Madden football and people will still think he should get a shot at playing for the Cowboys.

Just the way it is.

Damn straight, bring back my boy. Shoot, he could beat Romo every single day. Romo can't hold a candle to QC. You see how he fumbled that snap? and then got caught, if that was QC he would have ran that for the TD and won the game.

Exactly. The reading of the tea leaves on Barber vs. Jones is going to be unbelievable.

"OMG Barber was with the ones! Wade figured out Julius sux!"

Ad nauseum.

Oh, and don't forget Ellis' progress. The Ellis bashers will have plenty to occupy themselves with, too.
