Ok. First I will ask the question. Does anyone remember the last time we played Atlanta without Tyron Smith? And Clayborn destroyed Dak's psyche?

Is anyone else concerned that if Dak takes another beating like that he will be hearing footsteps the rest of the season?

This team needs to SORT OUT the LT spot immediately. And I don't care how. Steele needs to go back to RT put Lael at LG and put Williams to RT. That could be a solution to solidify the line. If I am not mistaken Connor Williams was a starting LT in college was he not? Something needs to happen because I dont see Tyron playing, and we don't need Dak back their taking hits like he's in a ring.

That wasn’t the last time we played the falcons. That was the chaz green game. The last time Dak beat them. But yeah. We need a answer at LT for this game. I am hoping Dak gets the ball out. Dink and dunk if we need to. Run it and play action. Get the ball moving.

You wouldn't have to worry about that if you had a real franchise QB.

Lol fair post. I figured you would chime in. Although. Mahomes is also a top 5 ELITE QB and his PSYCHE looks to be a little battered after that Superbowl beating he took lol

It not logical to place Collins, who has not taken one snap at LT all season, at that position.
Thats why I suggested moving Collins to LG. We need some push on the inside and he gives it. Move Steele back to RT and Williams to LT. Or just put TY to LT and Steele to RT and Collins to LG.

I'm concerned with the protection not so much the hearing of footsteps on Dak part.

Atlanta has a pretty good offense attack...better not sleep
They are 22nd in yards and 23rd in points scored. That's not pretty good. That's below average. The defense needs to step up and punch them in the mouth. Be sound with their fundamentals, no blown assignments in the secondary and put pressure on Ryan. We win comfortably if they can do that. If they allow Ryan to sit in the pocket or if we leave receivers running wide open, it could be a long day. But their weapons, outside of Pitts and Patterson, are not good.

Atlanta ranks dead last in sacks, with 11, and ranks 30th in pressures, with 58. They rank 26th in hurries with 27. Their pass rush is not good at all and they rarely blitz (23%). The OL should be able to hold up against the ATL pass rush. If steele struggles again at LT, yank him ASAP and put Ty in.

I felt is was a mistake to move Steele over to LT. He just does not have the overall experience, this season is the 1st season he has showed success on the right side. Moving him to the left in my view was the mistake. Collins on the other hand has much more experience in the league than Steele and in my view should have been the one moved to the LT. Just my view on it.

YOU DO NOT MAKE THAT MANY CHANGES TO THE OL , NO WAY SHUFFLING PLAYERS TO NEW POSOTIONS WILL WORK..

it was one game !

the most id do is flip the tackles Steele back to RT and LC to LT..

If not allow them to settle in it was a new grouping for one game and maybe with practice and corrections it will work. ill trust philbin to get it corrected..

what i want to know if TS was going to miss last Sunday and this coming Sunday

why not have the dude go get that spur removed and at least we know 4-6 weeks from now hes full go for big run..

waiting is ridiculous spurs don't go away with rest making that decision last Friday, scheduling surgery is the correct "big picture" move..i dont understand why you let it linger..

you sit dak for the big picture but dont get TS into surgery asap..seems a bit confusing the big picture was for Dak only..TS is just as important....

goes for Diggs and his ankle should have used KJ for a game , get these guys right

Id sit AC this game i mean that Hammys been issue 3 weeks now.. and let Gallup, Turner, wilson and brown come in to make up for it..or is the big picture only for Dak..if so its not big picture its an overreaction..

I don't think the Falcons have anyone like that anymore. They are last in the league in sacks with 11.

The only thing that worries me about the Atlanta game is that the Denver game broke the Cowboys momentum, particularly on offense. I worry we are going to see a repeat of 2019. But I am not that worried.

The Cowboys should come out of the locker breathing fire, and igniting their own gas with the flames shooting out of their ears after that embarrassment against Denver. If not, then I will worry the Denver game broke Dallas.
