What would be different if MM returns?

Mike will be reducing prices on the vending machines at the Star. Currently, all candy bars are $1.00. With Big Mike at the helm again, you'll be able to get a Snickers for .75 cents. Now, THAT is leadership.

You can’t win in the playoffs when you beat yourself, and MM’s teams make far too many mistakes, commit far too many self-inflicted wounds to be able to beat the best teams in the league

I agree with you that MM can get you to the playoffs, but if his best is a division championship and maybe a divisional round playoff win— is that enough?

For me— it isn’t. There hasn’t been enough progress made on penalties, the slow starts, the turnovers etc… to ever make me think he can win the biggest games of the year.

5 years is enough to know what you have.
I mean, 1 playoff win in his last 7 years as a HC. The last 2 at GB and then 5 at Dallas.
The lone playoff win against an 8-9 Tampa squad further illustrates your point.
So yeah, he is what he is.

This is the question that has to be answered by Big Mike, you be big Mike and tell us what you'd do differently to be brought back???

Not much, he's a JG repeat. They will just strip some of his duties and pull the strings even harder than before. We will end up in the same place. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Less fans, less ratings, less merchandise sales.

Not enough to truly hurt the Jones but enough to notice.

Lol. To be honest, I've always been a pretty positive fan. I can't do that now, knowing we probably aren't changing anything from coaching to free agency. It's hard to see where we get dramatically better.

getting better isn't really high on the priority list for one Jerry Jones, the amount of beers we can sell at home and away games means more

Nothing changes unless Dak is let go.
McCarthy is too close to see it, but Dak will continue to hold the Cowboys back.
And that means at least four more years until a legitimate rebuild could even begin, meaning the Cowboys are as much as ten years from getting out of the hole they are in- if ever.

you're so true

I'd say with the benefit of the new job security he could probably pack on another 20 or 30 lbs. Other than that, I don't expect much to change

Seriously absolutely nothing. Just hope we have better injury luck.

Nothing at all, everyone will be a year older and new contracts are going to have to be paid. So he may have less to work with the next couple of years and consequently he may not even last the entire 5 years.

We'll be older, have more highly paid vets, and so less talent. 8-9 sort of team.
