what would be your last meal?

A Mexican food feast.

carne asada burrito chimichanga style
posole w/ pan birote
chili colorado on a tamale
chile rellenos w/ a chile verde sauce
red chile enchiladas smothered in cheese
carne seca tacos

Lots of rice, refried beans, sour cream, & gaucamole. The hottest salsa I can find for all of it and for the chips and salsa appetizer.

For dessert a slice of the apple crumb cheesecake from Claim Jumpers. If you haven't tried it, do it. Best cheesecake ever.

I'd hate to be the person to clean up after you :D

End it with a slice of chocolate cheese cake and a shot of yeagermiester.

Is that flatterring?

My wife's risotto with Italian sausage, as well as empanadas con carne mechada (Venezuelan style), and roast potatoes. I realize there's a lack of harmony there, but this is my last meal, so I can't be bothered with balance. Dessert would be cheesecake (again made by my wife,) and to drink would be a Belgian beer such as Hoegaarten or Stella. Finally, an Illy coffee.

On a side note, I've noticed a lot of people mentioning seafood. I've never been able to get into it. I really feel I'm missing out. Must be a chemical imbalance.

Texas used to have the last meal list of each person put to death for like the past 50 years or so up on its state website. They also had up to the minute lists of those who died recently as well.

Its gone now. Pitty. It sure was fun checking it out. You wouldn't BELIEVE some of the stuff people were eating for last meals.

It was the quantity. Not the menu that was odd.

In some cases. I swore they killed 5 people the meal list was so big. I remember one in particular. It was like

1/2 lb of Grits
14 Pancakes
1lb of hashbrowns
1 roast beef
6 baked potatoes
1 loaf of bread
4 ears of corn
1 gal of Iced Tea
12 Ho-Ho's ( I am just assuming from Hostess ) I could be wrong. /shrug

It was unreal. I was like - NO WAY!!! He would be having to eat like this.

He is no question...but if it comes down to Ohio St...Michigan or Illinois...I don't pick Illinois. That's what's unbelievable to me. Because I'm sure Ohio St and Michigan recruited some of those guys.

Unless of course they pay me more.:D

Well... he made Marshall a respectable program...

He went to Florida and competed against FSU and Miami for kids and did pretty well. Just ask Urban Meyer... ;)

He will steal some talent...

Eeek. Hospitaliano is awful. Although, spelled out it looks like it might refer to "Italian" food you get in a hospital. That seems about right.

Whataburger with cheese and jalapenos. Whatasized fries with extra salt and pepper and a crapload of fancy ketchup. And a whatasized root beer.
