What would it take for this draft to upset you?

We have a lot of needs so I can see this draft going in many directions. I also think we're in a good spot. Even if our top choices are gone (Donald, Barr, Martin), there's still a lot of talent. So, my question to fellow Zoners is, what would it take for you to be upset with our draft?

I would be upset if the Cowboys draft a TE, WR (not a top ten prospect), safety, or CB (not a top five prospect) in the 1st round as well as ignore DL or OL in the first three rounds. I would also be upset if Dallas trades up to draft anyone in the 1st round.

There might be some picks that I am not all that happy about, might be picks I would have rather had when it is over.

However with this team need help in so many areas it would really have to be a crazy set of picks to really upset me.

I could see a scenario where the top DT, DE and OL we like are gone and I could live with taking a WR in the first as I would imagine you could get a top 3-4 WR.

The TE in the first would irk me. I would not like the idea of taking a CB with the 16th pick either.

Other than that It would have to be something really crazy to really make me mad. But to be fair, if there is one person who could pull that off, it would be Jerry Jones lol.

-Ealy, any WR, Ebron, or Zach Martin at #16.
-A QB in the top 4 rounds not named Manziel, Bortles, or Bridgewater
-Trading up for anybody

Reminds me one of those high maintenance girls who say they are always happy UNLESS and list a long list of items and when they are done you think...so you are saying you are not going to be happy.

No I am not calling you a girl or anything of that nature.

However I am saying that with that list you are probably just waiting to be upset with this draft.

But to be fair, with this team....Nothing wrong with preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. :)

Ealy, Clinton-Dix, any CB, & any QB at 16.
Getting hosed in trade down value again might cause me to break something.

How does Martin, likely one of the safest first round picks, end up on a list with Ealy, arguably one of the biggest risky first round picks?

I get the idea that OL isn't a big need, at least early in this draft, but not sure how one could be upset if Dallas took Martin and sured up the OL.

I'm fully expected to be disappointed already lol. But I would say the only 1 out of my list that is unreasonable is Martin at 16. But that's just personal preference, although "upset" would be too strong of a word if we did get him.

Same reason one could be upset about Dallas drafting Manziel?

Like it or not, Tony is 108, has a bad back, and would rather play with his grandkids than get a beat down from JPP. Dallas coaches would be blessed to have Johnny Football fall in their laps. :D

See post above. Martin wouldn't be a "bad" pick, just pretty far down my list of preferences at 16.

Another thing that would upset me is if they drafted someone with an injury. That would set me off on a rant.

I don't really want Ealy there either. Definitely do not want that TE there. However if some of the other guys are gone I would like Martin and if the other guys are gone and martin is gone as well (and we can not trade down)...I would consider Odell.

Trading up...I don't mind it IF we don't give up too much which with Jerry it might be impossible to trade up without giving up too much.

I don't mind a QB in the fourth.

This draft just seems to be shaping up as one of those where we are just out of range of who we really want so we settle for other players. Just hope those other players work out.
