What would the expectations be with Romo

1-1 and I think that's the expectation with Dak. 2-0 and you have a QB controversy. 0-2 and the choice is easy. 1-1 and Tony is on a short leash.

The expectations would be that he would be lucky to make it through an entire game without breaking something.

My expectation is that the Cowboys do more than enough (on offense) to beat both of these teams but our defense lets us down at least once.

So that being said 2-0 with Romo(hypothetically assuming he'd been healthy and played the first 4 games), 1-1 with Dak given the situation we're in.

I think we have an okay shot against GB's defense, but will likely get torched on defense. Cinnci, we have a better shot not getting blown out by their offense, but our offense will probably struggle more.

What I worry about is a team that has a high powered offense and they go up 14-0.. Then what.

The 49ers suck. It was a good test for us that we came back but we're not holding the Packers or Bengals to 3 points the rest of the day if they go up 14-0.


With Romo I feel like we are always in the game because he can do more than play the Alex Smith type of game that Dak is playing.

cincy is a passing team. Get a lead on them, then force dalton to turn it over.

It's going to take 34+ points to win either game most likely. That's why I'd like to have Romo right now.

But there's no sense in playing what-if with this. Dak will grow a lot anyway.

I don't see the Bengals as a really tough team.

Play smart football and make them one dimensional.
The Dolphins held them to 22 points, and their defense was on the field for most of the game.

Green Bay will be tough, IMO. 1-1 would be solid.

Yup. Especially against Philly. They will be targeting that collarbone and back all game. I'd rather rest him and have him start against Cleveland. That's just me.
