if for some reason, everything clicked, and Tony Romo lead the Cowboys to the superbowl? Before you start throwing around how there is no way we'll make it, etc, etc. This is hypothetical.

If the Cowboys went to the superbowl, I'd probably have to get a plane ticket to my hometown in Texas, seeing as I'm a college student in Boston. I'd refuse to watch the game up here with a bunch of scumbag Pat fans. The feeling of being surrounded by fellow supporters and celebration as we watch it on a huge screen, that and I wouldn't want the college girls up here to see my cry when we win.

Exhale.

Feel good for all the great players on this team who are very fine human beings.

Feel good for all the suffering real die hard fans.

throw up daily from the worrying about the actual superbowl.

and finally, pray to the gods we win.

I've had dreams of this happening. Of course, the way things look right now that is all it will be but I ask myself can I imagine in late January the Cowboys are still playing and then at that time think back to October and say remember when the Cowboys were playing poorly and every Cowboy fan was in full meltdown mode. That seemed like a long time ago. We can only hope something like this happens.

You know right now that there is 1 maybe 2 teams that have a record of 1-3, 2-2 that may end up in the Super Bowl.

I would freak out, dude. It's been a long time. I like the thought, that's for sure.

I live in AZ and I was SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO sure we were going to make it to the big show in 07. The wife and I had already agreed that we would get a loan (either on the equity of our house, or some type of personal line of credit) to go to the Super Bowl if they made it.

I was so crushed when we lost to the Giants. I didn't come out of that funk for a few weeks (literally). I hadn't been that disappointed by a football game since "The Catch". Heartbreaking.

Honestly, I would probably shed a tear of joy. Beyond that it wouldn't matter. My Boys are at the dance!

If/when the Cowboys make their next Super Bowl I'm going to be in attendance. Hell, I'll be at next years Super Bowl, hopefully they'll be in it.

the way the league goes, that exact scenario is going to happen. The last two years have proven that.

cardinals, giants, steelers, panthers, pats in 01.

Its the teams that get kicked in the teeth early, fight to hang on and use that learned behavior to win late.

Somewhere there is a vikings fan tonight sleeping nicely. He has dreams of favre going out like elway with TD in Denver. But we all know that is not guaranteed and for all we know, the niners could roll back into the metrodome and whip the vikings on a cold night in january and go to the superbowl.

Just like the panthers did philly, the giants did to us, the steelers did to the colts, the pats to the steelers and on and on and on.

LOL

if you ever listen to the ticket, the afternoon show the Hardline has a host named Mike Rhyner. He is convinced Jerry already did that, and because of that and the sins of the guys at the white house the cowboys are cursed forever.

thus he hates the cowboys!

I researched about 2-2 teams ending up in the Super Bowl and it has happened 4 out of the last 6 Super Bowls that one team made it that started the season with a 2-2 record. It just shows the parity of the league now and how you don't know who will be playing the Super Bowl anymore. You used to be able to tell by about week 8 or 9 and narrow it down to three or four teams were that would be playing the Super Bowl. You really can't do that anymore. I mean last year I thought it would be Tennessee and either Carolina or the Giants. The year before the Patriots(that was a given and one of the few times it's happened that way lately) and probably us. I just hope this team shows us something for the remainder of this season. I mean I am not really thinking about playoffs with this team I just want to see this team show some character for the rest of the season no matter what happens.

I'd be so nervous.

And so wasted.

I second that emotion, you should have seen me after the last playoff loss. I have never been so unbelievably wasted in my life. I woke up thinking the game hadn't been played yet...and then when I came to I was pissed again

I'm with ya buddy. I was watching that game with some buddies and I remember going to the fridge and chugging some Crown Royal when Romo threw that last pick.
