A Dr. Pepper and a bag of donuts...if you get deactivated off an Indy roster that has a horrible running game...wait, I'll keep the Dr. Pepper...

He may not be a RKG, but I still think the talent is there and someone can get it out of him in the right situation. I'm on my phone and wasn't sure if this hypothetical has been brought up, please forgive if it had.

I'd give up a 4th, maybe a 3rd if I felt like he had his head on right.

A third round pick for Trent Richardson?

LMAO

Thank GOD you are not the Cowboys GM.

What did scouts see in Richardson to make him the 3rd pick overall vs what they saw in Lacy to make him a low 2nd round pick?

Both were big Alabama backs coming out of college. Both had successfull careers there -- separated by just a couple of years.

A 7th, if that. The guy has had a rough year but he isn't helping himself. I'm not giving up anything for his potential.

a $1 and some envelopes

A bag of magic beans.

I might give up a half eaten Snickers bar.

$2.50 and a jawbreaker

A coke and a smile.

A bag of cheetos and a bud light... I mean a bag of cheetos... that is all

stick of gum....after i got a good 15 minutes of chewing out of it

A bag of hair.

A Dr. Pepper and a bag of donuts

I am utterly amazed that you folks see that much value in Trent Richardson.

This is one of the worst thread-starters ever- and hilarious following posts. :D Sorry, but you can't undo this revealing of a complete lack of insight in football (scouting). Better luck next time.

I think he could be successful (with a good mauling OL) in much the way Ron Dayne somewhat redeemed himself as the "thunder" in the "thunder and lightning" combination the Giants used to employ with him and Tiki Barber.

As a dependable workhorse as the focal point of an offensive attack? No way.

The Giants drafted Ron Dayne. I'm not sure he ever redeemed himself as his numbers went down each season he was there. Dayne played 4 years in New York, averaged 3.5 ypc and scored 16 rushing touchdowns.

True, guess he was just the closest thing I could think of to Richardson in terms of expectation versus production.

Without Barber, he would have been gone well before 4 years I believe.
