I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised when the season starts this defensive tackle rotation is the best I've seen in years. But I totally agree that's where it all starts

Yea don’t fool yourself. The tape in preseason isn’t very good. I understand he’s raw. But this team is ready right now. If Collins goes down we’re in deep trouble at DT.

We got rid of Brandon Carr. We got rid of Claiborne. We got rid of the safety Wilcox. We clean the back field the youngest backfield in the entire league right now . Everyone was screaming what are huge mistake it was to get rid of everybody. I loved it I knew it was coming. I trust him William McClay. Id I'd like to get Eric Berry on the cheap. Bring him in as a part-time player, his experience and leadership would be like Sean Lee with our young LBs.

If Zeke holds out they need someone besides Morris to back up Pollard.
I want another kicker too. I've never really had a lot of confidence in Maher.
They need a backup QB. Rush looked better but I would prefer a backup that has actually played in some NFL games. The problem with Rush is all you have to do is pressure him and he folds. But all these positions are backup positions and I'm not trading a starter in exchange for a backup unless maybe a guy like Nick Mullens was available as a backup QB.

I have been forever lamenting not signing Earl Thomas, but I'm feeling better as I see more of the defense. Still, you can't tell me we wouldn't be an absolute SB caliber defense with ET on this team. With the pressure we are going to put on QB's, ET would have been salivating back there waiting for errant throws.
